I personally don’t have a lot of hope for the offense with Daniels as QB. Maybe he will prove me wrong.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that you don't know that.

LSU is a talented team with very little chemistry that doesn’t have its full playbook installed on either side of the ball.
Saying this alone- means we need to Fire, and I mean give Kelly the Bum Rush out the door right-the-frick-now.
We paid a premium price to get premium results. I did not see any of that on the field Sunday night. Making excuses has become a part of LSU's Culture, and I am sick of it.
Goddamn we have some retards posting here.

Take away fsu fumbling and we lose by 14
Do we take away our fumble 3 plays before that one that one as well?

Not scoring from the 1 yard line at the end and not kicking the FG in the second gives them 10 more points.
Those were both terrible Coaching decisions

Agree with most of your take:
D scheme clearly gave up short stuff to protect from chunk plays. Only works if you can get after their QB or he gets impatient and takes a big shot. Neither one of those things happened.
Safeties were a surprise and looked good.
Corners looked fine in outside zone and did ok in man late.
Losing Mason Smith will take this D line from best in the SEC to average.
Right side of O line looked terrible, with Shorts or Bradford, didn't matter.
Kole Taylor looked bad but neither TE looked good blocking wise. Clearly Mason Taylor will be a player, but he looked like a freshman blocking against FSU.
I only disagree with your take on the LBs. I thought Mike Jones looked terrible overall, which I hate for him. Not strong enough to take on lineman and too slow so he was MIA most plays. On the other hand, Penn looked solid against the run. Took on blockers and was still able to make some plays. Weeks actually looked better than Jones IMO due to his speed, but they were asked to do different things in fairness. I agree that Perkins needs to get in the rotation bc owe lack speed with the current group.

Got beaten and outplayed severely by a mediocre football team
For shits sake brothers. FSU is not mediocre Get off your high horses.

There is really no evidence that LSU wins if they play Nuss.

Look I wanted Nuss to be the starter as bad as anyone. Kind of like Culotta was saying this morning, he was riding shotgun on the Nuss bus all summer; but Daniels wasn’t the problem Saturday night.

Lastly, Boutte seemed more frustrated with his play and the way that the game was unfolding than simple disinterest. I also think his previous injury is always in the back of his mind and is hampering how willing he is to lay his body on the line knowing he’s in his money year.
This what I read on Boutte too. I think he got frustrated that things just didnt come back to him right away and went from bad to worse...

Boutte cost himself a lot of money in the game. He can overcome it, but he has to "want" to.
Prior to the FSU game, NFL scouts saw potential in Boutte - but thats it. He's not proven that he has the commitment and dedication week in and week out to lay it on the line.
Unfortunately, what he did show was that there's 2 Boutte's:
One has a lot of potential.
The other Boutte is capable of terrible play and likely a cancer for the locker room.
So in week 1, the scout report on Boutte is ...?

how willing he is to lay his body on the line knowing he’s in his money year.
He needs to be very willing to prove he has the heart and the want to do what it takes to WIN.

2 dropped TDs by an all-American WR.
A bad snap inside the 10 yard line on second and goal.
A blocked FG.
A blocked PAT.
A TD pass given up on a trick play where if the CB turns around, knocks the ball down at the very least.
Take away literally any of those things and it’s a different end result. Kelly inherited a complete rebuild. Adjustments will be made and we will be better for it.
All true -
but even add two point to our score for a 'win' - and we still looked like crap
