FSU just lost #5 on the defensive line that was Kicking Wires arse.

The the QB looks to be out with an Achilles issue.

I’m going to call Woodward and suggest we play the first game of the year and the let the fans judge our wins and losses. Then cancel the remainder of our season.

It doesn't exactly work that way. Teams can improve or regress throughout a season. I do believe we win that game if we played FSU as our 2nd game.

Florida State played over their heads, had already played a game, LSU made several mistakes they probably won't make again for a very long time, and everything about the team was brand new.

Them getting whipped tonight doesn't tell me that we're terrible. It tells me we're probably a lot better than what we showed two weeks ago, and if we played next week we'd probably win handily.

I’m down (realistic) on our Tigers but this is such a lazy shitty take. frick Florida state and everything they do and don’t do this year. That game is in no way a measuring stick of how well or bad we perform this year. FFS

LSU had come out throwing, it would have beat FSU by two touchdowns. Conservative start and opening game issues cost them.

Excluding a drive to run out the first have LSU went 5/7 drives inside the 10.

Hard to do much better than that.

The problem was the defense getting off the field on third down.

Remember when we lost to MSU and UCLA the last two years to open the season? And half the board was like “we suck” and the other half said “no MSU’s QB is going to win the heisman and UCLA is finally due under chip Kelly!!”

Then the week after beating us both UCLA and MSU lost to shite teams. And ended up being shite. How’d we do those two years?

Not saying we can’t improve and do better, but seeing how FSU looks means we probably suck. And should expect a 7-5, 6-6 type year again.

I just checked the score expecting to see UL blowing out FSU by 21+, and I’m shocked to see it’s only 21-14 at halftime.

He is not even close to being terrible. FSU is not very good, but it's not because of his play.

I honestly think this is the type of season most people are expecting with LSU having so many new players and the SEC barely having any super-weak teams.

we beat FSU 10 times out of 10 if we had played a game zero. we wouldn’t win by a lot, but we definitely win.

Louisville is better than or as good as Miss St, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn.

The same Louisville who was killed 31-7 by Syracuse? Interesting take.
