Because LSU is getting bad press. Do you not know Alleva's history? Have you read the Duke lacrosse case?

LSU is 26-5 and just won the SEC.

Do you have a better answer?

The Duke lacrosse case is not comparable to this.

W Wade is right to not talk to anyone, when nobody talks, everybody walks. Make them prove something. Wade an OG. Respect.

They are going to end up prematurely firing him with cause, and the two parties will end up in a long court battle over his $9MM buyout.

These are things that make coaches run from having anything to do with LSU.

If LSU wants to keep Wade as its basketball coach, it can. The NCAA isn’t going to make you fire your coach short of a show cause.

Yes, yes it is. Joe was out front on the issue, and in public, threw his athletes under the bus precisely because it was a big case in the media, and rushes to judgement were being made there. Much like now. One article, and look what has happened.

Yes and right now the press asked for and got Will Wades scalp because a portion of the wiretaps were leaked. None of which discussed outright infractions. The administration doesnt like bad press. The administration forced conditions on a meeting that were obviously never going to be tolerable in an effort to have cause to suspend and subsequently fire him. This latest leak of "not being able to wait forever" is just another example of that.

It can...for now. The admins’ hopes are that we would avoid the dreaded LOIC and death penalty by firing Wade ourselves.

In a world where there was articles getting written that LSU MUST SUSPEND WADE it makes sense that the weak men who run this athletic department would give in to the mob.

Alleva made a poor decision and was under a lot more pressure considering the criminal allegations of the Duke Lacrosse case.

Now he has a coach on a wiretap and is giving him the chance to explain it before action is taken.

This is not criminal. This is not hearsay. This is much more black and white. LSU fans have just decided to tie a shite ton of emotion to it.

WW is never going to meet with LSU's administration. His attorney won't allow him, for good reason

No he doesnt. He has reports that only include a portion of the portion that was fed to a reporter by the defense in effort to paint Will Wade in as bad of a light as possible. That is the goal of the defense. Their entire defense is to make the coaches look as crooked as possible.

Of course they don't like bad press. You wouldn't like bad press either if your employee did something stupid, would you?

That doesn't mean they are itching to fire him. But they have the right to get to the bottom of it. If it is confirmed that he indeed cheat, he is going to get fired. If not, i would be willing to bet he keeps his job.

. But that may not be possible if Wade does not come to them to explain his side of the wiretapped conversation with Dawkins.

Alleva wants to meet with Wade with the BOS and their attorney BUT will not allow Wade to bring his attorney.

Can't wait forever? The fricking trial is only a month away. If you are going to frick LSU's chances to win, at least fricking wait until the goddamn fricking trial is over and he's guilty of something. frick those motherfrickers.

When they call in the NCAA prior to actually talking with him first that means they are itching to fire him.

I wish WW were on TD. He’d see how many fans he has supporting him. Don’t go coach!
