Would be a great hire. And would be a helluva recruiter, particularly in the New Orleans area. An icon.

When will this be a done deal? Who has the inside rail on this one? Let’s get it done guys.

CuJo would be the most talented WR coach at LSU since Adam Henry.
Would he and Joseph both be on staff? Not sure how pieces would fit. Maybe CuJo just takes over Brady’s role.

I'll get downvoted for this, but it is amazing how many people start shite with Lester and don't even read his posts correctly and understand his point.
Johnson would be a phenomenal hire for WR coach and recruiting, and an extremely questionable hire for replacing Brady as PGC.

He’s a douche but at least he provides objective analysis and some logical reasoning.
CJ wouldn’t be a good replacement.

Lester, can you disclose why you think he's an idiot? I wouldn't imagine SP would have him as WR coach of the Saints if he's an idiot. Ummm, not being funny but that's a highly critical part of their offense/success.
I don't know much about him but it appears that it would be great to have him. Brady was one of many analyst on the Saints but this guy actually coaches a position.

Great recruiter but he is an idiot. If he is too assume Brady’s role that is a major step back. Please lord no!
Do yourself a favor, seek mental help. You are severely delusional.

He's pretty much the Peej of talent evaluators.

As a longtime Tulane fan I can’t emphasize how atrocious of a hire this would be. He didn’t know anything about the saints offense. He can coach WRs, that’s it. His offenses at Tulane were poorly coached, a mess, couldn’t score, etc.
Did he call the offense at Tulane when he was head coach there? Serious question, as I have no idea. Looking at his resume it doesn’t appear that he’s ever been an OC, just WR coach or head coach.
It seems like a lot of folks are looking for a co-OC hire, and I think many will be disappointed. The Ensminger/Brady relationship was the exception not the rule. That’s part of the reason their relationship received so much media attention.
It seems to me that most passing game coordinators are effectively WR coaches with a better title, higher salary, and additional game-planning duties. Hell, Jerry Sullivan was our PGC a year ago.

If he’s gonna be a WR coach and recruiter he’s a very good hire. If he has any major role in the direction of and/or calling/installing of the offense I would say he’s a bad hire.

Totally agree. He is very far from a great offensive mind. He’s not in the same stratosphere as Brady.
Great recruiter. Good WR coach.
Xs and Os? LMFAO

Sorry but Sean Payton and the Saints do not hire idiots to be on their staff. CJ is highly respected as a receivers coach and developer of talent around the NFL. He would be a great addition and a helluva good recruiter around New Orleans.

Sure
And you could say more or less the same thing about Sullivan.

How do we know that Brady didn’t recommend Johnson when he left. A strong possibility. Also, did Brady ever call plays or coordinate an offense before coming to LSU? I don’t think he did.

Kinda easy to tell who does and doesn’t follow the saints.

I called it lol. Another saints assistant. They probably had this planned
