Great recruiter but he is an idiot. If he is too assume Brady’s role that is a major step back. Please lord no!

Curis Johnson would be a great addition to the staff. He is extremely smart, outgoing, great technically. He would be about as good of a hire as possible.

This is why this place sucks.
Yet it’s why it’s awesome

Can’t decide

Curtis Johnson was actually apart of the Saints Staff. Joe Brady was an analyst.

There are a lot of roles on a staff.

People act like being realy good at coaching WRs won’t get you a job as a WRs coach.

Doesn’t mean you can run the whole offense.

He’s been coaching a long time and basically got hired to be a figure head recruiting HC at Tulane hoping his brand with the saints would help recruiting.

He’s never been approached by anyone for any kind of coordinator position.

Brady designers our offense was a big contributor to our game plans and in game adjustments.

That’s what we’re replacing.

I’m not going to answer that, I need to tone it down and apologize for saying that. I like Curtis he is an excellent WR coach and recruiter.

But he got some really really really poor marks in a decision maker capacity at Tulane. LSU’s last PGC www the OC. I just assumed he would take that role but I think I jumped the gun. There’s no way

I think Munoz is best. He is really good with QB.

I doubt he would be working for Payton if he was an idiot. Dude has had a hand in Michael Thomas getting better every year.

Would assume that it would be a step down as a pro WR coach to a college game PGC, money-wise specifically. But he would not be called on to be the OC, so who is to say he would not be a good fit for Brady's position. Too, he, like Brady, had to learn a hell of a lot being around SP. Either way, Coach O has to be buried in applications, so whoever he gets, he has to want, not settle for.

Look I just assumed he was going to be the OC like Brady from the PGC role. I jumped the gun. He isn’t an idiot in a broad sense I just don’t want him running an offense

I think the PGC is going back to a Jerry Sullivan type responsibility, and I think they hire a legit OC or co-OC.

If we lose Munoz and hire CJ and Pelini, i'm officially concerned.

Now...with that said, I didn't think O was the best hire either so what the frick do I know.

This has to be a strictly recruiting move. Which means a new OC which I am fine with

You and I both know there’s a 0% chance after what we saw they lost brady and will cut ties with Ensminger. Curtis is your new PGC if he gets hired

It’s harder to make a name for yourself at 29 than 58.

The question is, if Johnson is some
Great offensive mind, why has he been a WR coach since 1987, with the exception of an unsuccessful 4 years at Tulane?

Brady went from William and Mary to Saints Staffer in 6 years. That’s not bad.
