Fair point. Not exactly what I thought the essence of the post was. But, good point.

If he didn’t pay for the seat, resolution should have been quick

Not sure of Omaha policy to better seats and innings

The TV crews make Superfans even worse. They would come up and get them to pose and cheer for a fake picture or video during commercial breaks etc…. None of the “super fan” BS is authentic.

We know that she didn't use the N word and we pretty much know that he caused the hostile reaction and use of the phrase "black bitch"...

What we also know as you say is that the OP stated she never saw anyone trying to take pictures with the guy, yet several posters on here said they saw her knock someone's phone out of their hands. Yet, she fails to mention that part in her story.

As a black man myself, and I consider myself an LSU super fan, Deangelo or whatever his name is, acts like an entitled a-hole. Now why did the OP had to call him a "Black Bitch" is a bit concerning to me. That statement alone goes deeper, and IMO, the OP has some deep rooted unconscious hatred that normally comes out in high stressful situations such as she was in.

Why should they be forced to change their entire plan just because you want to show your arse?

He's got all that video, but not one video of her using that word?
because she didn’t. He never even claimed she said that, only that “in his head” he could hear her saying that.

That’s how the race victim card works, you just have to claim someone said it so you can scream racism. he threw that in there just to be a POS instigator.

I'd repeatedly go to security and hold their feet to the fire. If I got nowhere with one person, I would go to another, then another, then another. Eventually, I would find police and say that the situation is on the verge of violence and ask that they verify his ticket because he has moved from seat to seat throughout the game.

If none of that worked and nobody of authority would intervene I would do my best to move seats even if it means moving to another section or letting the kids sit in my seats while I stood.

None of that is convenient or ideal but it's all better than what transpired.

Should they have had to deal with that, no.
Is it better than what happened, yes.

They chose a route and it led to going unhinged, crawling over seats, knocking phones out of peoples hands, going viral, public posts to defend their actions, etc.

It's a shite sandwich and they had to chose between wheat or rye and they chose double shite.

Actually I did. This is only one side of the dispute given but IF true that the guy was standing up almost all the time, that alone is ridiculous. She was nice to label him a "superfan". Let me give the REAL description...RUDE SUPERFAN. I put that in the same category as Green Bay fans sporting cheesehead wear and no doubt restricting the view of the people behind them. Why aren't umbrellas allowed at football games...yep. Also in the LSU game, there were the "Bullwinkle" fans I assume wearing stupid head gear which also had to restrict the view of those behind them.

Bottom line: consider the effect your actions have on others! PERIOD!

If it wasn’t his seats, why security didn’t make him move?

Guillot goes up and down the aisle and does this. He does not stand in front of someone to block their view. There is a difference. One makes it about the fans. The other makes it about himself. Guillot is never trying to be on TV.

Seat marshals usually won’t do anything about someone standing up. Sure, it’s annoying but getting yourself kicked out is dumb.

There are tons of people on here who will just post random stuff like this just for the attention. There are also tons of people on here who would make this thread, just for the attention. The OP posted the shots of the text, so that makes it more believable. So in general, "because I read it on Tigerdroppings" is not a solid basis to take something and run with it as fact.

I'm sure she wishes she could take that part back. And you are probably correct.

Nobody was going to switch to seats right behind a guy that was standing the entire game. Nobody. I was in that direct area. I can tell you we paid very good money for those seats for the Saturday game. They weren’t cheap.

Wasn’t HE the one that offered to exchange numbers to fight after the game?

And why do you hold her and her family responsible for trying to find someone willing to move seats with them? They had multiple seats together. They paid to watch it together with their kids? HE was the one causing the disruption but standing the entire time. HE was the one causing the issue. They were never going to find multiple seats together swapped for sitting behind this obnoxious distraction.

Why are you absolving him while putting all responsibility on her and her family?

Count me as Pro-Belt Guy.... settle down, Karen.

Why?

I can relate to people who want their kids to enjoy the expensive seats much more than attention whore who fuel their narcissism by trying to get a few seconds in from a camera man.

Being a great fan doesn’t mean you have to crave attention. Let the team get the attention.
