No he thinks Oregon’s loss to UGA is bigger than anything. He’s much more adamant about Oregon not jumping TN than LSU.

But you homers keep telling yourselves the same crap.

So LSU gets into a 2 team playoff with 2 losses, but now they won’t get in with a 4 team playoff, thats rich.

They can’t exclude it, it still happened. But I still think if LSU won the SECCG, they would get in.

some of the ESPN talking heads have said LSU is “blocked” by Tennessee since they beat us head-to-head.
Odds of us getting to ATL undefeated, and then beating UGA are slim. If we run that gauntlet, we're in. Period.

OTOH, we could lose Saturday. Ole Miss could win, and we'd be done just that quickly.

This has been such an enjoyable season. I’m going to keep the no expectations mindset and continue to enjoy it.

I haven’t had this much fun watching lsu in a long time.

Yeah, and a loss to the Hogs negates the Bama win.

If LSU wins out and beats GA (big if), they will be 11-2 and winners of 7 straight games with 3 wins over top 10 opponents which includes a win over the no. 1 team in the country. With that kind of finish there's no way the the CFP committee leaves them out.

Ya, the Tennessee would get in given H2H argument fails to acknowledge Georgia be in play too.

If LSU wins the SEC over UGA, how is Tenn getting in over LSU?

Is Tenn the SEC East Division Champs? NO

Is Tenn the SEC champ? NO

Is Tenn going to the playoffs? NO

And Georgia destroyed UT so why does an 11-1 UT get in over a 12-1 Georgia?

Frankly comes down to a 3-way tiebreaker where SEC champ gets in.

LSU would most definitely be in if they win out. To put things into perspective, we would be SEC Champs, UGA only loss, and just their 2nd loss in UGA’s last 32 games. That trumps any resume. LSU would have arguably the two best wins of the season, no team in the last 3 years has beaten both UGA and Bama.

Let's get past the Hogs and Aggies before we beat the Dawgs in the SECCG.

No way a two loss team gets in top four.

It's called tortured logic. I would 100% prefer that computers do the rankings.

It surely does. Kelly earns his money by beating Arky easily.

Remainder. Bryce young didn't play bad vs LSU. Bryce young took what LSU gave him, which was absolutely nothing. He only had one bad decision all night, the interception on the opening drive. Which wasn't even a bad decision, he just got hit as he threw the ball. That was an easy TD if he doesn't get hit.

More than likely LSU does not run the table from here. The two losses reflect them not quite being at that level. That’s the reason a two loss team hasn’t made the playoffs yet. A team at that level might have one slip up, but generally not two.

If LSU were to beat Georgia, that would be a solid indication that this team has continued to grow into that caliber of team. At that point, the circumstances surrounding the FSU loss should make that result almost irrelevant in assessing playoff worthiness. They would be SEC champions with a better collection of wins than any other team in the country with the possible exception of Georgia. Absolutely in that scenario a two loss team could and SHOULD make the playoffs.
