A win over Georgia in the SEC championship negates the Tennessee loss

I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but some of the ESPN talking heads have said LSU is “blocked” by Tennessee since they beat us head-to-head.
However, in my opinion, if we beat Georgia, that negates the loss. LSU/Tenn/UGA would each be 1-1 against each other. LSU would be SEC champs, therefore a lock for the playoffs.

I don't see how in the hell LSU would be left out with a win in Atlanta.

Both our losses are in LA. Team is undefeated on the road and is improving every week. UGA has looked great, but I was at the Mizzou game and saw first-hand that they aren’t impossible to beat, even with a below average team.

Don’t tell Reece Davis. He thinks the TN loss is bigger than anything. Even over beating 3 top 10 teams. Imagine thinking the TN loss would mean more than a UGA win. The team that beat them.

Hey now, Fagbutt. I am a sunshine pumper all day long. But I know UGA is a better team than LSU.
I will be content to lose in Atlanta and get us a sweet bowl game. Win that MFer and head into 2023 ready to dominate everyfrickinbody.
But if a few things go our way in Atlanta and Bennett has a shite game like Bryce Young did last Saturday, we have a chance.

That sounds great and would probably be correct if we didn’t have another loss to Florida State. Why some of you just pretend like it didn’t happen or think the committee will pretend like it didn’t happen is beyond me. We’ll probably get in at 11-2 with a win over Georgia. But you’re delusional if you think it’s automatic.

Except lsu has 2 losses. Lsu would be the least deserving of the 3 teams.

Because it sends a horrible message that there is no reason to play decent out of conference opponents. Tennessee won in OT vs Pittsburgh. If conference championships and current form are truly important factors, beating UGA to win the SEC would be huge.
That said there’s a path to 3 SEC teams. Don’t think it will happen but it’s possible. And we’ve seen crazier things than UGA or UT dropping another regular season game.

If LSU continues to improve and some how pulls out the sec championship there is no way they get left out. The group takes in improvement through the year.
If LSU beats Georgia they would have to do it twice and I’m not sure that will happen. Either way we gave greatly improved and exceeded any predictions I made. I thought 8 wins max including a bowl, now with a top defense and an offense that moves effortlessly with confidence is a great recipe.

Honestly, i think 1pt loss on missed xtra point will be excluded from the decision.
Easy point system:
Tenn gets 1 for beating us.
UGA gets 1 for beating Tenn.
LSU gets 1 for beating UGA
LSU gets bonus point for being SEC champs, we in. tie breaker
