Arte the bars in a centralized location in morgantown? Is there a certain area to go out?

High Street, just over the hill behind the stadium.

Bump. I cannot wait for this game. I live outside of Baltimore and have my tickets and hotel. This will be a blast.

Just to clear this up......most of the stuff on high street are clubs as opposed to bars. The bars are spread out everywhere in the city. There are some great one to hit up. I'll make up a good list of both later

Is there a place nearby the stadium that is open after the game so we can purchase some couches to burn?
When in Rome....

It looks like the most boring place on the planet. Soon as the game over I will be on the first flight out.

Same thing could be said about Mamou-until you talk to a couple of locals and go to Fred's and then its a different world. I think WVU and LSU have officially become Frienemies. I'm thinking about making the drive up after reading the thread. Sounds different and fun. Sounds like they speak football too.

what exactly are you looking for in a college town?
and Nick Papa, RV parking at the Coliseum is $40 for the weekend (unless they've raised it since last year)...may want to call 1-800-wvugame just to make sure...

Our #1 party school ranking says otherwise

I'm stoked, just booked my flight to Pittsburgh. Pirates game Friday night, then football Saturday night. Good weekend.

For anyone driving up and taking more than a weekend trip up, the New River gorge area is an amazing place. It's a great outdoorsman/adventurer paradise. I've spent a couple of weekends rafting and fishing there. It's 2.5 hours south of Morgantown but well worth the trip. I've lived up here for 3 years and it's my favorite part of the state. There is nothing like it within driving range of La. I hear the white water rafting in sept is phenomenal too.

envy is the only club on high street other than the freshman bars all the way at the end.

Brandon,
Quick question: Is the Waterfront Place hotel walking distance to the stadium? The hotel claims to have a shuttle but you can miss a lot of good trash talking if you don't walk...just asking. Tnx.

No.....no it's not. And I was talking about the high street "area" if you want to get technical about it.
But you've got Bent Willeys, Fins (or whatever it is now), the cellar, 228, Shooters, Lazy Lizard, chicknbones, Gibbies, Sportspage, Backdoor, Sidelines. That's just off the top of my head
And yes, I know a lot of those are "bars" as opposed to "clubs" but what you said was completely wrong

everything you just listed other than the freshman bars are not clubs.
Envy, what ever club z is and what ever illusions is now are the only clubs two of which are freshman bars

We need a place to tailgate. Where can I buy a parking pass or two for a truck/trailer that will let us drink beer, play our LSU music, and watch other games?
