but Larry Cokers record was 60-15 and he won a NC

Not a simple yes or no. if we play pretty well and dominate the teams we are supposed to dominate and not let inferior teams almost beat us, then I will gladly take 10-2.

If we get blown out by Bama and Arkansas or Florida and McNeese, Vandy, La Tech, WV, Miss St. are all nail biters, I say GTFO.

As much as the OP would like for it to be a simple Yes or No answer, it isn't.

Yes, if LSU doesn't blunder or crawfish its way into most of those 10 wins. So far, win #1 was not impressive. On the field of play, I want to see my Tigers breathing fire and spitting brimstone.

I agree with this but it has only happened once in 5 years and there were extenuating circumstances. That's why I still support the coaching staff. Many around here act like we have had multiple loosing SEC records. We have not.

This is correct. Dead on. And a VERY good point.

Despite what I myself said about the 9-win minimum (my opinion only), it is also very important to look at this from a historical standpoint. Winning programs RARELY fire their head coaches.

Bottom line: We are NOT a losing program to this point, and anyone who says we are is....well....a fool.

The difference in LSU's case is that we have tasted the very best, and frankly, have been spoiled. Anyone who's been following LSU Football as long as I have is hardly surprised by this.

I am an LSU guy. I wouldn't trade places with ANYONE. I envy NOBODY. I envy NO OTHER PROGRAM.

I am still confident we can have a great season.

In life, we have lots of choices. I choose to be poisitive. Somehow along the way, "positive" has become an ugly word in the eyes of many around here- and in my opinion, that's a GD shame.
The ridiculous notion that we should "run this man outta town"- after only one game- is beyond me...

Here's a thought: Let's get through this season, remain loyal to the people who SURELY WANT US TO WIN THE MOST (our players and coaches), and see where we are.

I don't believe that's asking too much.

Come on, admit it.

You were defending Tepper and Gerry D back then.

FIFY at no charge.

If it takes a little help from me to help you say what you really mean, then I'm glad to pitch in.

"Yes" or "No" would suffice. However.......

I realize how complex yes or no questions can be to some people, so feel free to simply leave blank if it's too hard for you.
