What say we cut the crap & get down to brass tacks? If LSU finishes the regular season 10-2 this year, will you be willing to accept that he deserves to be back in 2011?

Don't answer my question with a question or any other long, drawn-out BS, please. Either yes, or no.

That's fine, too. I'll still have my answer if that's the case.

Yes. Without question. And I don't care who the losses are to.

I will reward you for your honesty.

This may shock some people- but yes, I would.

Yup he should be retained if he goes 10-2 in the regular season.

Obviously he would build more goodwill if that 10-2 also meant a trip to represent the SEC West in ATL.

They won't. They have too much of their egos tied up in blasting Les Miles. No matter what success Miles may have, they won't be satisfied, because that will be admission that they are wrong. Their delicate little egoes can't stand yet another bit of evidence that they are ignorant losers.

If he goes 4-4 or worse in the SEC do you agree we need to cut bait?

It's nothing personal. He's a good man, IMHO. But I would agree with some that this is the year.

I happen to believe the only way CLM will keep this job is to produce nine wins.

Nine wins with a brutal schedule and a VERY young team would be a success, IMHO.

Eight wins spells trouble for him- just my opinion.

If we finish 10-2, he deserves to come back. If he doesn't and we lost to Florida, Alabama, & Auburn. I'd like to see him let go. I cannot accept being second fiddle. Florida is in no better position than we are this year. Frankly, we should be in a better one with a returning QB and defensive coordinator.
