Yet you still have posters saying Daniels under threw or was late on passes Saturday.

How many times has lsu had a qb that was all sec and drafted in the first 3 rounds? Please enjoy it while you can, it won’t be the same next year.

I'd be really interested to see LSU match back up with FSU by the end of the year. That secondary in week 13 will likely be much better than they were in week 1.

Had JD5 played the 2nd half of the Grambling game, he would lead the nation by now.

Well, we would have taken the foot off the gas in the second half no matter who was in.

If we would’ve put pressure on Travis it would’ve been a completely different game.
We game planned to not let him beat us with his legs and he torched us with his arm.. coaching/scheme allowed our secondary to get exposed imo

I hope you’re right, but LSU has played exactly one decent team this year so far.

We are lucky to have a weak conference this year. We should win every game except the SECCG. I’m guessing we lose that and the bowl game. Stats will look good for many various reasons - but this team won’t be playing the schedule it did in 2011 or 2019.

It will be a decent year for us - but this team hasn’t turned that corner of being great just because they clobbered two very weak teams.

We are doing the literal thing that we used to hate on Oregon, Ohio State etc for. We lose to the one good team and run it up on the weaker teams and go “yea but did you see what we did to grambling?!”

We need to keep improving. All this “where the haters at now” talk is embarrassing. It’s like putting your bumpers up on bowling or changing your game difficulty to easy mode and talking smack before you prove anything.

We put a ton of pressure on him. Problem was we did not maintain containment on Travis and he slaughtered us on extended plays.

These are especially impressive #s given that two of our three games were against real opponents, FSU and MSU. Many teams have played three cupcake games.

If we continue to improve like we have, there is not a team in the country we can’t compete with.

You’re right Ebridg3. No one should be excited or enjoying the games.
Idiot.

The big double move Daniels threw when Nabers was wide open was an underthrow but when a receiver is that open you are taught to put the ball on him to prevent missing the throw. If people are honestly claiming these things then they are just showing their stupidity.

I don't know if anyone is actually taught that way. I think it's just human nature. I played a ton of touch and flag football in my life and I'd say most of the time guys were wide open deep the QB threw a duck.

You my friend are a Debbie Downer, and do not know how to enjoy life. You also cannot foresee how much better the timing is with our QB and receivers, and that is an analyzing flaw on your part.

Even more impressive when you think about the fact JD has sat for 3 quarters watching backups play.

It evens out when he basically sat while playing the 2nd half of the fsu game.

I have been critical of JD when I've seen aspects of his game that need to improve. I'll also be quick to praise him when he performs well. Even if State is not an upper tier SEC team, the fact that JD was more decisive and took shots deep with most being close to perfect throws, we should all be very pleased.

I'm behind whichever QB gives us the best chance to win and right now that's JD. We are in better shape than most if not all teams in the SEC at the QB position.

In high school we were, if a receiver is that open you are taught to put it on him.

Then he came back and put a ball absolutely on the dot to Nabors before that last touchdown. My god was that a beautiful throw.
