Well, I got to finish doing some work, moving some junk in the junk yard. Onto beer time.

You guys have a great Volunteer evening, and its probably going to be blast to watch them in Baton Rouge tomorrow. Who would have ever thought Ed would be back to coaching the Vols?

They will renegotiate the buyout if/when the decision is made to fire coach O.

His posts are just incoherent.
All he knows is that O’s failures should be blamed on others and o should not be fired.

It's strange, I would think he's Orgeron himself (and wouldn't put posting here above him) if he didn't have somewhat decent grammar. The fact that he thinks the AD is purposely tanking the football program so he can get rid of Orgeron is batshit insane, there's tens of millions of dollars at stake

He also thinks Woodward (who has only been there since after the 2019 season) is responsible for all of Orgeron's failures, when O had PLENTY of failures before the 2019 GOAT season. He thinks Woodward went out and hired assistants by himself, without any input from O. In short, it's insane.

For some reason he can't get past the fact that the AD is responsible for the success of the entirety of LSU athletics, while Orgeron is responsible for the success of the football team. That all falls on Orgeron, and that is the case in basically every athletic department in the NCAA. The football head coach chooses his assistants and the AD signs the contracts, period. This is especially true when your HC has won a national championship.

He hates Woodward for whatever personal reason even though he has a clear track record of success, particularly in hiring big time football coaches. I just want to know WHY he has such a weird infatuation with hating Woody and suggesting there's some Qanon level conspiracy happening

It makes one wonder who is in charge of contingent liability and risk at LSU.

Listening w/Eyeballs…

No one.

LOL, your post pattern is really similar to a SECr poster who has been really quiet since Saturday.

I don’t know man. I feel like O has really brought this on himself. And I feel like social media persuasion can go both ways and probably does. And I don’t really give a shite about all that. If he ain’t the guy we just need to move on.

Is someone holding onto to some bombshells that LSU can realistically say they didn’t know about so continued to let him coach as usual?

Or are they hoping O just implodes with pressure and shows again who he is creating new reasons?

He may negotiate to get more up front, but for anything reasonably known by LSU before season that justifies firing for cause doesn’t LSU look bad plus diminish their own case by still letting him coach and then fire him after poor on field results?

Now ask yourself. Why do you think a handful of posters get mad at me by just mentioning Woodward. A name probably 99% of the people that watch the games doesn't even know exists.

1. Because it’s a deflection from O. You’re not just mentioning Woodward your blaming him.
2. You’re a dumb yet pretentious prick for assuming 99% of people watching the game don’t know what the AD is.

Not really. It’s generally a great and popular place we’re people come to constantly scream their preformed opinion.

Here the deal, Woodward fires O, hires an awful replacement and then comes up with more bad hires. The board fires Woodward and hires Sabin to become the new AD to get him out of coaching Bama. Saban becomes a great AD and we’re set for many years of
triumph in football under new HC Lane Kiffin.

Well, by the time Saban's contract expires with the Gumps, he will be pushing 80. Which will be a very good thing under that scenario, because he will have to forget (due to dementia) that he hates Lane Kiffin so he can be hired.

Wonder if Pomansky will negotiate the buyout? Is there a binder prepared already?

He isn't going to the NFL, more value in the short term elsewhere.

He will be sought by Alabama, take a few recruits, and a few of the internal defensive linemen with him and maybe Ricks.

Value for Alabama or Ole Miss.

- Maason Smith (going to be a hit)
- Jaquelin Roy
- Jacobian Guillory (would fit better in 3-4)
- Eli Ricks

Besides Boutte it would be downgrade across the offense.

Recruits: Howard, Campbell, and Hill.

Are you crazy, Saban would not hire O and neither will anyone in the NFL. Maybe USC West will remember the 6-2 record O had there and rehire as the DL coach. O is not a coordinator or HC material but an excellent bulls**ter and recruiter. No more, no less!

I would not be surprised he gets picked up by Ole Miss or Alabama. DL assistant and lead recruiting for Louisiana and Mississippi.

Ed can bring the ones with value with him i.e. the internal DL (Roy, Smith, Guillory) and Ricks as CB. Offense would be mostly downgrades except Boutte.

You still haven't figured out how Saban works?
