No one cares about the fricking article you impossible bastard. You say you’re not trying to change anyone’s mind and you agree with me that nothing is going to until they take the field, yet you expect us to read long winded bullshite that ultimately means absolutely nothing until September.

Why?

I'm always surprised at how well some people bowl after they have had a few beers.

I have a friend who can't play golf worth a crap unless he is drinking. We were playing in a charity tournament one time and had to send his sister to town to buy beer for him. His strength is his drives and putting and if he's not drinking he can't do either.

I can only drink on the last 3 holes. I do good because it relaxes me. I can't drink earlier because after 4 or 5 beers I just don't give a crap anymore and the game goes straight into the toilet.

So, what you're telling me is that past coaching experience, no matter how long ago, is relevant to predict how a coach will perform today, right?

No, I was asking the poster which body of work makes them feel like the offense will be more like the Bama game as opposed to the Mizzou game. It was based on his statement.

I never claimed to be right ever let alone always. You and the OP are claiming because someone who was a great player has said nice things about a guy he’s friends with the rest of us are supposed to take as fact the guy will be a great OC.

We don’t know for certain but even though we didn’t play we can pay attention and follow things and notice patterns like how teams that compete for championships are built.

Ok...would someone with more time than me like to count up the number of posts this tool has had since Orgeron was named interim head coach? I'm asking because, unlike most of these obvious trolls that have suddenly found the internet in 2015 and joined the most popular LSU message board on it FINALLY, this guy has been here since 2004.

And honestly, I'm not sure I really remember him contributing all that much in any regard prior to the last 18 months...which I find kind of curious. Something suddenly lit a fire under his arse, but he's had an account for a long time. Seems an odd combination.

I'll set the over/under at 50% of his posts on this site that came before or after Ed was named Interim.

I've got over.

My post was not meant for you. It was for the people on the board who like hearing/reading information about the LSU football team, players and coaches.

Move on man. This board does not revolve around you.

I have never even seen you before and won't remember you the next time you respond to one of my posts or threads.

Sorry but you just aren't important to me, though I am SURE you are VERY important to this message board and it probably would not exist without your priceless input.

Slinger vs Cameron

Just another friendly reminder to any reading this thread of how the standards have been lowered.

See the goal wasn’t to get LSU back to championship contention it’s was merely to be better that Tom Herman, Jimbo Fisher and have an offense that’s better than Cam Cameron’s,

It's much more than 50%.

Lucky for us, he will disappear like a fart in the wind as soon as Orgeron is fired.

The 61st ranked offense in 1997 and the 90th ranked offense in 1998

The 20 years of not running any offense outside of high school.

That’s the body of work I am Referring to.

His whole body of work stopped indicating success in the fricking 90s.

Until fricking 2016 when he was running another person's antiquated offense and set multiple all-time LSU offensive records.

Records two national championship winning OC's at LSU didn't have - Jimbo and Crowton.

We set LSU records in 2015. Most TDs by a back in a season. Rushing YPG by a back in a season. Season Rushing Yards by a back in a season. Did that make Cameron a great coordinator?

Should we hire him? He actually scored points Vs Bama with his offense.

You know what record Jimbo set?

Passing yards in a season
Passing yards in a game
Passing TDs in a season (twice)
Rushing yards in a game (set the record in 2005)
Rushing yards in a season (set the record in
2001)

Crowton has the record for Most total offense in a season

So a guy who retired 13 years ago likes Ensminger? That did it I’m sold on Ensminger. An offensive lineman that retired over a decade ago likes Ensminger must mean he’s the best OC in college football. I’m sold

So a bunch of cry baby bitches on a website, that never played a lick of football past high school says Ensminger sucks. Yep I'm sold. You who know nothing about the ins and outside of a college offense says he sucks, yep that did it I'm sold. But nah a guy who played professional football lost all knowledge of the sport because he hasn't played in 10 years. That makes more sense.

Go for it.

I mean he scored 14 in a 30-14 loss to Arkansas and 17 in a 38-17 loss to Ole Miss.

He also scored 19 in a win over A&M and everyone knows A&M ALWAYS has a GREAT defensive team.

14 and 17 are enough for a W in 2016.

We only needed to s ore more than 10.

He’ll most the game it was 3-0. They scored late. Maybe we defend a 7-3 lead. We’ll never know because we didn’t score anything.

But hey Leonard Fournette and Guice are broke a record. I wish He had called those genius plays VS Bama.

Oh and I edited To include record Jimbo and Crowton set.

Jimbo was pretty good BTW.

You do realize Roaf retired 13 years ago right? Furthermore, he entered the NFL in 1993 and Ensminger was the OC at La Tech from 88 to 90. Literally 30 years ago.

Are you really going to take praise from a player from 30 years ago and present it as gospel? That's pretty foolish when you consider just how much the game has changed since then.
