Something I don't get here. With plenty of time left they run down the court and jack up quick 3s. With time running down the take every second to finally take a bad shot. I just don't get it.

Hopefully they give us 8 points for the ridiculous dive.

I saw decent passing and decent percentage 3 point shots down 6 or 7. What am I missing?

Do they not have to try 3’s that late in the game?

The box score looks respectable. I figured we’d get dismantled by the Vols.

I guess they are looking for that 5 point shot there at the end?

I get it we lost and were basically set to lose at the end. But you are down 3 possessions with 30 seconds left and you take 20 seconds off the shot clock to get a shot off. Then with 7 seconds left down 6 you dribble into the lane as if you have a chance to get 3 possessions. It was over long before that but fricking shoot the ball.

Same story every game. Opponent gets more shot attempts due to offensive rebounds.

Tigers cannot shoot well enough to overcome fewer shot attempts.

Thankfully only one more home game left. The end is near.

If Ziegler doesn't get that lucky bank shot as the clock was down to 1 the last shot by the Tigers was for the win.

There were a couple of possessions late where they were taking a lot of the shot clock to then take contested shots, sometimes passing up shots that would have been better. Passing was generally better in this game though. Tennessee had more turnovers than LSU. I guess I'm just frustrated with the inconsistent play in the game.

Sears is always getting dumb fouls at bad times. These refs call us for everything though. It's a joke.

Yep.

If LSU doesn’t give up rebounds on two free throws that turned into 4 points.

If my aunt had nuts…

Tennessee isn’t the type of team that tends to blow us out. Auburn, Missouri, ole miss, maybe miss st or Florida on a hot shooting day. Teams like Tennessee and Texas A&M are good teams but aren’t the type to blow us out due to their slow pace and limited press defense.

I guess, but that goes for many games, not just ours.

So top 2 SEC teams not to make the NCAAT get autobids to the NIT. LSU has a good chance to make the NIT with a 14-17 record since 13-14 teams from the sec are projected to make the tourney rn

That’s crazy

I don’t think that many SEC teams make the tourney, but Georgia beating Florida and vandy winning this past Saturday are making it start to look like lsu gets the last conference auto id to the NIT

UGA winning today and getting back on the bubble helps us. USCe is out of it. So maybe 15th place in SEC is a queens gambit for LSU.

I thought that the loser of the Texas Oklahoma game and the vandy Georgia game would end up missing. I still think the Texas/Oklahoma loser misses. But Georgia/vandy might not matter as much.
