I was just gonna mention Hooker getting released recently says a lot about the offense Tenner runs. Sure, there were mitigating circumstances in that he was coming off an injury and was already pretty old. But he was amazing at UT and was good enough to be taken in the 3rd despite all the things I mentioned. Heupel’s offense is good-great in college, but it doesn’t prepare skill guys for the NFL, and we’re starting to see how far behind the 8-ball they are once they get there.

LSU overpays guys too. It is what it is. You win some you lose some. As long as we are getting top 5-10 classes on a consistent basis, and filling positions of need, you can’t ask for much more.

Heupel would be sitting close to a .500 record if it weren’t for Hooker. That guy was a one-hit wonder for UT and singlehandedly carried their offense.
