Game really should not have been that close, but it was. Alabama had no answer for LSU's passing that day. There used to be several "Youtube" clips but this is all I could find, and it is out of synch.

BTW, it was Alabama's Homecoming.

2001 LSU 35, Alabama 21

I was there.

I believe Josh Reed had one million yards.

Reed fumbled after a 75 reception, which would have put Rohan over 600 passing yards.

I was there, game wasn’t close. Realistically LSU should score 50-60 points.

loved that team. pioneers and helped start it all. we would always go greet rohan, josh reed, and dwayne "world" pierce as they came down the hill to enter stadium. we would be going crazy high fiving and getting them all hyped up. we would holler at josh reed " ALL AMERICAN " "ALL AMERICAN". we knew he was getting AA honors that year and he did. he ate it up always laughing with us. so much fun.

the GOAT

I think you're underselling it.

That was the week after LSU lost at home to Ole Miss and Saban was booed at halftime because LSU's offense was too conservative at the end of the second quarter, leading to a blocked punt right before the half and Ole Miss scoring 14 points in about 1:00 of game time.

Because of that, Saban and Jimbo opened up the passing game and led to that record day

I was there!

.....and after game, two coeds (Bama) were giving a show at a bush right in the middle of the walkway. The young lady was bent over grabbing the bush. True story. Haha!!

Rohan was a legend that night
