I don't know if I've ever seen any group of people blow as much cock collectively as Tigerdroppings for Houston Texas.

Weather channel is saying 10-15" of rain for Houston through mid next week.

Not sure where the 24" and 30" numbers are being reported.

There are no pumps in Houston. They flooded on the north side a couple weeks ago

How many years has Houston flooded now?

Just saw this. Predicting a Cat 3 storm to hit just west of Houston and stall there until Monday, then possibly move back in the Gulf on Tuesday. This COULD, I repeat COULD be a major problem for playing a game there next weekend. Let's just hope it doesn't come to that. LSU has met the weather quota when it comes to football.

This article sums it up as of right now. It's impossible for anyone to know how much rain and where it will fall. But the possibility is real for parts of Texas.

quote:

Widespread rainfall amounts through next Wednesday near the Texas coast could range from 10 to 15 inches, with locally up to 25 inches, near the Texas coast, eventually extending into parts of southwest and western Louisiana.

agreed

I would love for this fricker to dive into Mexico. I'm suppose to head to Houston Friday for the game. Been waiting on football for too long for this bastard to ruin it

It's a valid point. LSU needs to start making contingency plans just in case. This storm is projected to stall for a few days over the same area we are playing. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have a plan in advance. We don't want to look like FL last year and we need to play this game on schedule.

I don't think there should be much worry about the game yet. It may be difficult to get into town, but I doubt even that.

The parts of Houston near the stadium should be fine. It rains and floods here all of the time. Hell, people were only out of work for less than a day during the Memorial Day flood a couple of years back, and some areas got 12-15" of rain in less than 4 hours.
