Teams have had some success moving the ball on the ground against bama's front four. Unfortunately, teams are playing catch-up early due to missed tackles and lack of pressure on mccarron. I didn't feel great about match-ups with mobile qb's like driskal or johnny football, but mccarron will be running for his life. Bama will turn the ball over. The Tiger's will be able to stay with a ground game because we won't be desperately playing from behind. Our running game will gash bama's defense. Our defense will dominate bama's offense. Execution won't be an issue due to the 2 weeks of preparation. The Tigers will beat them down and wear them out...period

Montgomery, Mingo, and Edwards just might win the game for us.

LSU has a great team and no wonder, the defense is littered with number one draft choices and running backs are the best. The lack of a consistent passing attack has bite us already and it needs to get better. Can we beat bama, of course, but Mett has to step up, plain and simple.

I do think we haven't seen certain plays yet.

McCarron, from what I've seen, seems to be airing it out way more than he did last season. Yes, they are running the ball too but they seem to really be throwing it way more this season.

Our secondary needs to capitalize on that. You know Reid will be looking for a pick, and he's not the only one. Simon could bait McCarron just like he did to JM.

Our D has been lights out. That will be a big factor in the game provided they don't get gassed, being on the field too long.

The OL has performed better in the last couple weeks, that's good. Let's keep that trend going. The offense needs to do it's part, don't turn the ball over, own the time of possession, get TDs.

The penalties need to stop.

The thing I like is that it's at home, it's a night game, we have 2 weeks to work on this while they do not.

We don't turn the ball over and our offense plays like it did against South Carolina and own that clock, keep their offense off the field, make TDs...... get the beer.

Switching to 3-4 defense won us the A&M game. Bama is pro-style. So do we go back 4-3 or try 3-4 again?

Just keep adjusting early and often..bama is throwing the ball more then I recall in seasons past. Take mccarron out of rhythm Early by any means necessary.

Tide by 17. Miles may faint again this year when he runs out of the tunnel. Who remembers when Les came out of the tunnel last year, spotted Saban and then fainted? The team almost trampled him

I remember our Coach saying "I would be proud to play that team again" after beating you in your house.

I honestly think Coach Miles looks forward to games like this. Unlike little Nicky, who probably hasn't crapped in a week already, our Coach doesn't feel stress and he looks forward to challenge.

It's going to be a great game and Miles will once again prove to be a man with class and style. I still have not seen him yell at a player, throw a fit, or be an arse at an interview. I would rather my son play for CLM any day of the week.

Tigers will leave it on the field and come away with the win.

He has but it's warranted when he does. He doesn't yell at people for making a bad play like saban does, but he will yell at them for omitting stupid penalties.

I honestly don't think they are as stout up front as past years. Still really good, but I think we can move the ball. The key will be can we put up 7 when we get the chance.

I'll pump as much sunshine as the next guy, but this a 50-50 at best. There's no doubt LSU can beat Bama.
