re: For You Tube TV Subscribers

Posted by fitz1190 on 9/5/25 at 8:22 pm to
Sorry to hijack, but can anyone tell me why when I try to login on my ESPN app on firestick using my YouTube tv subscription, it just kicks it back to the “choose provider” screen and doesn’t give me access?
Tropic Thunder and Ferris Bueller
Can someone tell me why I’m struggling to watch this series? I have Fox Sports app with Spectrum on firestick. Each game on FS1, it tells me that channel is not part of my package, but it is. I assume this is a blackout (I’m in NOLA). I have no problems with series on TBS. Anything I can do?
“Your ticket application was selected” from The Masters
Got 2 for Saturday! I’m the first person any of my friends know to have won the lottery. All we’re questioning its validity.
Do we know home and away yet? Do we know which baseline is for home and away?

I need a go-to Chinese place in Nola/Metairie area. Anything good and trustworthy?

Filling holes around foundation

Posted by fitz1190 on 5/7/21 at 1:12 pm
I’ve got 2 fairly deep holes right up against the foundation of my house. I believe it was an animal that created them. I tried filling them with sand and rock, and they stayed plugged for over a year. After a big rain they collapsed. Now I can’t tell how far down they go.

What kind of professional does this kind of job? Thank you

New poles and concrete for everything except for about 50 ft. Also ripped out and hauled away 50 ft chain link and 50 ft wooden.

Y’all are so shocked by this I feel even better than before and I was already happy, haha!

Pretty sure I’ve shared everything. Maybe this is just a great and fair company

2 guys did 170 ft of fence in 5 hours? I think you are mistaken.

I’m serious, they showed up at 7am on the dot. We did the walk through for like 10 minutes, they packed up the truck at 12:30

Impact Fence and Deck. Alex was the main guy, very professional. Scott and another guy did the job in 5 hours. Very happy with it.

It was 170 feet of fence. The permit was $56, and the total for the job was was $3,860. I went with Impact Fence & Deck, they were great.

Fence Permit

Posted by fitz1190 on 1/21/21 at 8:12 pm
So I filed for a permit for a standard wooden privacy fence in Jefferson Parish. The permit got “accepted” a few days before the job was schedule for the 18th. The job was completed on the 18th. The next day I get an email saying I owe $56 for the permit I thought I already had gotten accepted for. Now, the job is completed and I’m not sure what my next step should be. I don’t mind paying the fee, I just don’t want a huge fine for doing construction without a permit. Can I cancel the permit at this point since everything is done? Any advice is helpful, thank you.

Technically I’m in therapy department. Wonder which group I’ll fall into. Wish they would communicate better.

Did you get an email about this? I didn’t get any details from my leadership team.

Good point. So all that said, how do I go about making sure I get the right size hose based on how it fits onto the spigot?
I just had a plumber come out and put a new one on because the pipe was leaking. He left the tag on and it says 1/2”

Garden hose fittings/couplings size

Posted by fitz1190 on 3/28/20 at 11:42 am
Are all fittings/couplings on standard garden hoses the same size? Do I have to consider the size of my spigot before buying a garden hose? My outdoor spigot is 1/2”.

I recently returned a hose because the connector did not fit on my spigot. Didn’t think I would need help with a garden hose but here we are.
