I was pissed, turned off the TV, and went outside to drink a beer after the "loss," and missed watching the "win." Lesson learned.

Top 3 most bizarre games I’ve ever attended. Our offense was completely nonexistent

Les Miles should have been fired in the tunnel after that game. My God, looking back at that sequence and watching it again, how can a major college program be so unprepared for a situation. Just unbelievable.

I was in SEZ 409 for the whole game. I've never been so mad at a game in my life. I started stomping on the bleachers and cussing my brains out when we "lost." Then went ballistic when we "won".

F**king Les Miles

I remember sitting in the SEZ thinking to myself "this dumb arse hasn't learned at all from Ole Miss last year!"

I couldn't believe I was watching the same clusterfrick unfold within a 10 month span.

I was trout fishing on the Chattahoochee north of Atlanta that day and was following the game closely on the iPhone. As it was drawing to a close, my wife took the helm and dropped me off at the ramp so I could go bring the boat-trailer back down to leave the river for the day.

I sat for a moment in the truck glued to my phone and was even able to get a faint signal from WWL's AM broadcast on the radio up here. I was so relieved when LSU won on the penalty play that I totally forgot my wife was patiently waiting for me in the boat at the ramp, and I drove off with an empty trailer. No boat, no wife, and just happy as a clam for the win.

... Until the phone rang thirty minutes later and her very irate voice asked me what in the hell was taking me so long. (Thank goodness she has a good sense of humor!)

Glad we won and a cool moment but That was a terrible game, that was not a good Tennessee team and LSU couldn’t do shite on offense, after they scored it was kinda like alright cool they won but this shouldn’t have even been a game

I was at a sports bar where they have speakers outside. I was so disgusted by the game, my bill was paid. I bailed the second the ball sailed over Jefferson’s head.

I’m in the parking lot about to get in my car when I hear the announcement there was a flag. Ran back in for the final play.

Watched this one in a bar with other LSU fans. I don’t think anyone was watching the game anymore when we won. Husband was closing out the tab when I started screaming and jumping around. Looked at me like I was crazy but all I could do is point at the tv.

replacing Lee with Jefferson after he lead the drive.

that game was the point at which I really wanted Lee to take over as the starting QB and we just bring Jordan in if/ when needed.

that said, there was a play in the game winning drive where Lee just threw the ball up (I think he was being pressured) toward the middle of the field and it just hung there like a punt. no idea how it wasn't picked. and I kinda sorta understood the reluctance to use him more. kinda sorta.

Remember it like yesterday. Had to drive my son to a prom party where everyone was taking pictures and i stayed in the car to listen to the end of the game while my wife went to take pics of the prom kids. I listened to Jim Hawthorne describe the end of the game and I was just in disbelief of what i was hearing...game over we lose...but wait a flag on TN? I was like OMG just run the ball here, then boom TD, we win. Great radio theatre.

Total yards-
LSU-434
Tennessee- 217

Turnovers are what really killed us that game.
LSU 4
Tennesee 0

434 yards for an offense under Miles was really strong. LSU just continued to shoot itself in the foot time after time.

Exactly.

LSU should have demolished that Tennessee team. It was inexcusable that they had a chance to win. They were awful and Miles decided to make them look decent, so Tennessee removed all doubt by throwing the game away.

I knew people who were unaware LSU had won even hours after the game because they walked away from their TVs.

After the fumbled snap, I stormed out of the stadium in a rage. On the way to the car, someone with a radio told me that a penalty was giving us another play. I ran back in the stadium and saw the touchdown from ground level by the fence rail at the opening in the northeast corner. Needless to say my mood improved greatly during my next walk to the car.
