We had the chance to improve the beam score but Bryant/Aleah's routines weren't their best today

Let’s just hope our floor scores are favorable from the judges as well

OU will have to have 2 falls on the beam for LSU to win. This is predetermined.

Only way we’re winning is falls by OU on beam. If they stay on they are getting 9.95 or higher.

Konnor’s 9.8 on bars was a joke and the difference here

For Oklahoma to have the lead going into the final rotation is insane.

Our best 2 on beam fricking up will be the difference

Not it won't. The only difference is scoring. LSU has been way better than OU tonight.

The announcers have been wowed by low scores for lsu multiple times. That’s all you need to know from an unbiased duo

Or you surprised by any of the scores? As long as there's subjective scoring with the judges coming in already with the mindset that team O is better than team L then this is what you will see.

In meet assessment: huge problem with Bryant and Finnegan (obviously). You can’t have your two best be the lowest against a team like Oklahoma. The way forward now is (again obvious) outpace Oklahoma. If we can go 49.65 we have a shot unless they have a mistake on beam. They can go absolute lights out. 49.65 is possible with the way they scored Oklahoma but not necessarily with the way floor has been performed the last three meets - Aleah will need to be a counted score as will Haleigh.

If Aleah misses again, Jay is going to need to think about rest.

Re: Oklahoma, fatta, mueller, and Petersen (and bowers by half a tenth) were all too high. Let’s hope the same is there for us.

This is why gymnastics will never be taken seriously as a sport. About as rigged as wrasslin.
