Before he lucked up with Winston, there were rumblings of wanting him gone. He hasn't exactly set the world on fire without Winston this year either.

Yep....I agree.....we might be getting another Mack Brown who could only win with Vince Young.....I'm not a big fan of Fisher......besides.....why would he want to leave that cupcake conference to come to the SEC???

Using our damaged program as leverage?

I'd like to have a coach who loses games because he possibly made the wrong playcall, not because he didn't know how much time was left on the clock or how the clock even works.

No, you aren't the only one. I'd prefer chip Kelly (not likely), Hugh freeze (not likely), or Dan Mullen (possible). Jimbo has done fine where he has all the advantages and he'd be fine at lsu because they have similar advantages to fsu. The other three exceed expectations for a program due to exceeding their programs' expectations for recruiting, program planning, schemes, and/or gameplaning.

Saban does the same at alabama. He has a fantastic program vision that they carry out, coupled with the recruiting base, support, and facilities advantages of alabama.

Jimbo going through a divorce.

Kids are the x-factor.

Is ex-wife going to also move to BR to be nearby him?

More like, "Those close to Fisher said he may have interest in getting a nice raise to stay where he is."

Get used to it. This LSU job is going to be a bonanza for agents of high profile coaches across the country.
