I listened to “after further review” on this and the comment that implies Mathews “comes from a family that does not have tremendous means” basically saying the family is poor is bad info. I know the father and he works hard and has a very good job. Probably a better job than most people reading this have. They went with what was best for them. These talk shows need to quit assuming everyone is poor that plays football

Don’t knock the post. He’s right. This is how most of today’s young men think. A big ZERO on loyalty. It’s all about what can be done for me now. I have news for all of you, the way football was played is over. You can’t even hit someone now without fear of being flagged or ejected.

I spoke to someone that's close with him. I know the guy well. His son is actually being recruited by LSU. He told me in order for D. They didn't make the trip to be convinced to flip. They made the trip to see if there was a reason he shouldn't flip. You don't go through all this if your not already convinced. It's just to make sure the move is right.

Impossible to answer this now. We've all seen highly ranked guys bust and the not so highly ranked succeed. It's less often we see this but it happens. You see it in every class though. Only time will tell.

If that kid is a 3* something is way off. The only way he's a 3 is if his competition is really low level. His tape is 4* all day. I don't get that one.
