Ole Miss had this as their NC game. But LSU was mostly flat as as a 3 day opened soda can on defense. Can’t win like that. Life goes on.

I honestly have very few negative feelings about that loss. We need to get better. It’s only game three but instead of the entire game being a wash we showed we’re capable of coming back on the road against a highly motivated opponent that was supposed to win. That game was literally a couple of dropped passes away from being a victory. If we go out and win next week we’re back on track. I still think we lose three games this year but I also consider that a very good start to Lane Kiffin’s LSU career.

Maybe because we paid what was considered one of the top coaches in CFB to come here, he's done nothing but make headlines all offseason, and then he can't beat a guy who we all think is an absolute fraud in Golding.
Sorry man, but I don't think there's an excuse to lose this game. I think Lane should have won.

That's not what I am saying at all.
What I am saying is these are now professional players and they will be judged (and criticized) as such and the tsk-tsking about negativity is unrealistic.
It's one thing to criticize a team composed of a bunch of college kids in scholarships and walk-ons. That day has passed.
