5 picks returned for 5 touchdowns

:pimp:
Warning long message - but my body can't take it much longer.
Lots of impressive players on this team. A few major takeaways:

+ Ty Benefield, aka “Buck”
Benefield seems to be emerging as one of the leaders of this defense, along with Weeks. Hearing that he’s consistently one of the first players in the building, combined with his high football IQ, really stands out. He’s one of the players I’m most looking forward to watching this season. Absolute freak athlete.

+ Chemistry
I thought it was interesting to see how Lane structures certain meetings specifically around players getting to know their teammates. In the transfer portal era, that feels more important than ever. Talent is one thing, but talent combined with chemistry and togetherness can take a team a long way.

+ Practice Like Champions
The tempo immediately stood out. Fast-paced offense, constant reps, and very little wasted time. That should pay dividends when it comes to conditioning and preparing for a challenging season-long schedule.

You can tell that practice, from start to finish, is demanding and competitive. There’s very little room for complacency. It’s easy to see why Lane has been so successful. establish the standard, demand consistency, and make competition part of the culture.

+ The Defense Is Flying Around
There’s understandably a ton of hype surrounding Lane and his offense, but this defense might be what I’m most excited to watch.

The front seven has a lot of SEC experience, and there’s plenty to like in the secondary as well. From Prince and Weeks to TJ, DJ, Ty, and some of the young guys along the defensive line, there are a lot of players worth watching.

This defense has the potential to be a real force this season—and, with some of the younger talent developing, potentially for years to come.

+ The Coaches Are Setting the Standard
Lastly, the coaching staff appears to be among the hardest-working people in the building. The players clearly notice and respect that level of commitment. Yes, that’s part of the job, but that kind of dedication isn’t something every player has experienced at previous programs. Us fans too recent years.

That energy seems to be filtering down throughout the team. When the coaches consistently set the example, it becomes a lot easier to demand the same commitment from the players.

Man, I’m pumped. Here’s to staying healthy and getting to watch a fast, physical, disciplined football team compete all season.

:dude:
I think Wilson could be our highest producing receiver. He’s shifty & thrives in a LK offense.

Believe he will start
Amazing speech.

I hope someday he is leading the black and gold from the sidelines is some coaching capacity.

What Heupel did was immature and unprofessional.
Provoking own fanbase to cause chaos towards Lane and lsu isn't a good look.

I thought it was disgusting when UT did that vs lane and OM.

If one of those golf balls connects with you from the stands, it can knock u out. Dangerous.

Let them be.

Kiffin hasnt coached one game at lsu and hes the talk of town at media day already.

I can't wait for this journey ahead of us.
Exciting times.
Needs to hit fairway and go for it.

Fox is looking dangerous after that bounce back, hes rolling with momentum to finish

Been some chatter about it online

& I recently saw a tweet how Dottery was a victim of a false accusation at Clemson.
Left there, ole Miss and now P&G.

Ty Benefields video recent of how hungry the defense has me fired up for blake baker and the squad

The offense is going to be dangerous but im pumped to see the defense fly around.
Think they’ll be talked about nationally

Dottery and Weeks in the middle, 2 captains + a dominant line. Experienced secondary Dottery facing former team first game.

Don’t follow much BBall until March.
Deff not nc states season

Anyways, any basketball fanatics that followed or know of his success while at state.
First four out for the tournament, 20-14, 10-8 in ACC play.

Anyone know how he performed with preseason expectations & his recruiting?

So excited for him. Just curious if anyone followed his time while at state.
