OL and DL completely dominating the game. Been too long since we've done that to anyone.

Discipline. No timeouts used in the 1st half, well coached and every person on the field looked on a mission, except a CB early in the game.

Most refreshing thing to you about this

Even before the game, nearly every single LSU fan believed that we had the right coach about to bring the Tigers onto the field.

I don’t think that has happened since maybe 2007 when we all rallied around Miles right when Saban came back to Alabama.

We were united, and we were treated to one of the most magical seasons in LSU history.

Miles, as much as I loved him, was no Lane Kiffin. You get this entire state and fanbase pulling in the right direction for a coach with his ability and potential even when we drop a game just because we know he’s still the right guy, and there is no precedent for the success we will experience in this era.

Agree....I am a Miles defender but the spark he had early in his stay didn't last. Good to see engagement from HC.

but, real answer are the lines.

Also +1 to first half crowd

It was nice to see a head coach locked in. Night and day difference from BK. It was nice to see an OL that can block. It was nice to not see players celebrating after making a tackle 15 yards down the field like they did amazing for giving up chunks of yardage lol. It was nice to see a QB not afraid to take off and use his feet. It was nice to see the running game come back after being so stagnant. It was nice to see a dominant front 7. It was nice to see that the team was focused and didn’t let all of the offseason stuff distract them. Man I could go on and on. Hell of a win

The excitement that Lane and team have brought back to LSU football. Besides 2019 (of course), and the Miles years, it had been a very long time that I sat through a game start to finish. Not only is it the great play and coaching that make me want to watch, but there is something to be said for wanting to watch Lane being Lane (see his comments at the end of the game to Holly Rowe) and the party atmosphere with Theo Von, Livvy Dunne and Brooks Nader walking down Victory Hill.

That may feel weird to old timers but I thought it injected life into the program and brings back much needed excitement.

First game of the year looked like an October game. Kids were so well prepared

I watched complete domination everywhere. And then I saw Prince go in and destroy the quarterback and remembered. We are so fricking loaded. Prince is one of the best pass rushers in the country and it’s just one tiny piece of our massive pie.

I know this is trivial, but I always wondered why you HAVE to snap the ball to the QB only to handoff to the RB in obvious rushing downs.

Loved to see the direct snaps

-A RB that falls forward.
-A qb that took a six yard sack to a 4+ yard gain
-Dabo’s look that said “I give up”
