Lane giving the fistpumps, then back to controlled emption motioning the next thing to the sidelines. Gave me that sean payton vibe. Clear leader.
Was also nice having a few wide open plays offensively. Hadnt seen that in years

of Miles, O,
—why are you pissing on 2 NC coaches? Who cares about their sideline demeanor?

Most refreshing? A legit running game and a QB who'll run the ball instead of making a bad throw. Spent too much time screaming at the TV last year, "Run the f****** ball, Nuss!"

No celebrating until we were in the end zone.

Most refreshing thing to you about this win

Seeing the players play hard and competently. Almost never saw that during the entire BK era.

Notice how every ball carrier or receiver out of bounds is immediately coming back to the spot and handing the ball to the ref to get in position for the next play
Clemson never had a chance

For a game one, much less one with a new offensive staff, it was pretty clean. Very few penalties on offense or defense until the end. There were only a couple of instances where we looked iffy on the play call, even though we used plenty of tempo. OL knew assignments and were prepared.
I know there was sloppiness in the pass game, especially in the first half. However, that was mostly execution issues. We knew the routes and Leavitt made mostly good reads. If he and WRs tighten up the execution, we will be fine there.
If this is the floor, this team could be really fricking good.

There was one with the clock winding down in the 2nd half, but the game was well in hand. Considering this was the first game in a new offense, I think we can give them a pass.

Seeing a defense that looked fresh all game and not looking like they were running ragged b/c of an incompetent offense.

The defense imposing their will against Clemson. You can watch Clemson break in real time with absolutely nothing they could do about it. Burrow could have been behind Clemson’s O Line and it wouldn’t have mattered. The defense smelled blood and it was over.

Seeing the offense execute, with no huddle, good play calling, good blocking, and few penalties

except a CB early in the game.
I don’t think he screwed up the coverage. I think he was playing too conservative. It seemed like he didn’t know he had Safety help and didn’t want to let one of their top WRs get by him after the catch.

A smothering defense and players having fun.

A happy stress free 4th quarter
