Bright spot for the offense. Enjoy watching him run and a solid run game will help Sam immensely

It feels like we only have one running back on our roster.

Berry must be the worst pass blocker in the history of ever for Gage to be playing in front of him.

Hope we can afford him next year

I don’t see how Berry isn’t in front of Gage

He is.... i rewatched the tech game and he does not like to block, reason he on the bench

Yeah when gage comes in it's an automatic loss of 3yds

Berry and Durham have to be better runners than Gage. But they are evaluating more than just that.

He plays very hard; he is not a stud.

Hes great feels like we have a real good running back, problem is hes all alone in that department.

Especially when he's used. We didn't bother trying to run much till the second quarter.

Georgia, Bama, Ole Miss, Texas, and Florida have running backs that are much better than Jones. When the Missouri back returns, he is also much better than Jones. Get real. Jones is a pretty good player; he is not a difference maker.

Need to throw a lot of money at Nate Sheppard this offseason. Best believe Ole Miss will.

There are other good backs in the league. Bama seems to have a stable right now.
Don’t think the OL is doing Jones any favors

He’s solid. You’d like someone a little more dynamic

Baugh and Hardy ( assuming he returns to form after he recovers) are the best backs in the league; Lacy is right with them.

Jones is good. He's clearly the best on this team. He's very good at finding a hole with zone style runs and getting upfield. He's a hard runner and a tough tackle, but he's not dynamic in the open field where he can make good tacklers miss and rip off huge runs. He's definitely more of a powerful, "one-cut" type running back who can make another cut at the second level, but not as quickly as elite running backs to create more seperation. He is a quality SEC RB.
If he had just a little more quickness at the second level he would be a big problem for defenses.
