Does not matter, because he will never fill the full terms of the contract. As soon as the Bama job opens he is gone!

Looks like total commitment including NIL that equals 30-35 million a year. Is he worth that? Just asking the board their thoughts
I really really don’t think so. He’s going to prove it in a few years. I’d rather LSU get someone who quietly wins without any off the field drama and childish trolling. And/or is in this for the long haul. I doubt he’s here more than 3-4 years.

I've always viewed him as a cocky drama bitch
Just because he goes to LSU shouldn't change that
I really don't care if he comes to BR

No. The LSU board of supervisors are hell bent to make this the year of the trifecta of massive expensive mistakes.

No, Kiffin is a master marketer who has re-branded himself as some infallible coach. He rarely wins against a team equal or better than him. Ole Miss' schedule is trash this year. Perfect scenario for him to cash in whether he stays or goes.

He just went 11-1 in the SEC with a team that returned 2 starters... at OLE MISS! They were projected 9th in the SEC this year. And they have the 3rd most wins in the SEC since 2020.

Some of you are actual retards.

The powers that be believe he is. Is he? We’ll know today if we get to find out. He’s ultimately headed back to the NFL IMHO.

He’s a good coach. It’s obvious. It’s worth waiting him out and making him say no.

Nope! This guy is toxic. LSU hires this guy - as soon as DeBoer gets dumped at Bama Kiffin is going to bolt for Bama. Book it.

Drama Queen.

Elite wr/rb typically with inconsistent qb play. You insert Lane getting production from his qbs and LSU is instantly better on offense.

Best case scenario is LSU boosters spend 150 million to get one shiny trophy. If Kiffin were the coach, or anyone else for that matter, at best it will take LSU approximately 4-5 years to have themselves in a position to make a deep run in the playoff.

With the firings of the last 5 years with the turnstiles of players coming through due to the portal, we've created a circular firing squad in the dark. Georgia and Ohio State....and Notre Dame because of their stability of program are light years ahead.

I have a roof over my head. My kids' college is paid for. I am not going to be starving tomorrow. If LSU spends 20$ a month, or 2 million a month on a coach, my financial situation doesn't change.

I love LSU football.

With that said, if Kiffin is just in a really good position right now because of his schedule this year and the "need" for us Louisianians to believe there is a messiah out there, and he doesn't pan out at LSU, then OK - I could see how the cost could be a lot more than simply some billionaire's dollars.

The situation we THOUGHT we were in with Kelly, we would CERTAINLY be in with Kiffin as far as being stuck. However, Kiffin has navigated the SEC for a long time and he's friends with others as well such as Orgeron, who understand the cut throatedness of the SEC.

Even if he doesn't win a natty here, I'll have a reason to go to games and be excited about the program most years.

That's a very different thing then Kelly coming down here, faking an accent, looking like a deer in headlights when he realized how hard the SEC slate is, and calling LSU fans, who have had 3 natties and 4 appearences since 2003, spoiled.

I think Kiffin is worth it, because he HAS to be worth it. There is no other up and comer right now. There is no secret Saban assistant that just hasn't had his coming out party yet... and quite frankly, I think people like Cignetti that are up north playing University of Central North Dakota every week are absolute jokes.

He’s a perfect coach to get you to playoffs, score 40 and still lose. I’m happy to have him but making him the highest paid coach in CFB in insane to me. Not my money though so do whatever

So you're looking at 2030 realistically for any real playoff run.
