We knew injuries to key players would affect the team. They lacked quality depth to start. Add in Sam being good for a couple mental mistakes each game and you end up with an average team.

Exactly. Anyone in their right mind knew that this team wasn’t going to be a title contender year one. Why do people have clear expectations in the offseason but as soon as the season starts they think we’re going undefeated. It’s insanity.

Everyone has expensive rosters and multiple classes of them. Nobody expected a first year championship from Kiffin before so why do people all of sudden expect it.
