You know you want to donate. You’re just waiting.

Bayou Traditions
You’re waiting for the groundswell to happen so you know you’re part of the movement.
Friend…..start the movement. Be the catalyst that makes the other average fan say, “now it’s time for me to start”.
Don’t get discouraged because some big10 fan just cashed all of his crypto in so he can get a left tackle for his Alma mater.
Slow and steady wins the race.

It doesn’t take thirty seconds.
But it does only take 2 minutes.

It would be interesting to know what percentage of donations actually go to players and how much to their administration. I have yet to hear back from them when asking that question.

That’s a good question but you know Football Opps is making damn sure they’ve got the best ratio to help get players.
I have no link to support that, though.

With so many fans on this site, if we all pitch in $20 per month we could help

No. F'ing. Way. Fans are expected to pay for seats, concessions, sit though an hour of commercial time outs, and pay the 18 year -olds who still don't have contracts guaranteeing their services, all for the love of the game. I am not going to do it.

That’s your right.
Sounds like you’re not supporting LSU athletics for long, if I’m reading this right.
You’re paying for all that stuff and then all of a sudden the talent drops.
Why buy all that stuff to see a less talented product. Start small. Improve the talent and enjoy Tiger Stadium again.
Talent and coaching are what makes Death Valley loud.

Yes, totally agree. I’m keeping my $20 per month and will keep complaining on message boards.
We can all sit here and cry about losing recruits bc of NIL.

The way I see it is that either you are content with just enjoying LSU athletics without giving anything extra, or you see it as an opportunity to help make strides in obtaining elite talent. I can understand both sides. But if more fans can understand how valuable even just $5-10 a month is, we’d be bringing in enough to pay for at least 1-2 more elite recruits a year.

Other fan bases are donating. That's literally where NIL funds come from.

i have donated ~2 grand to date

I'm with you all the way on all of those points, but I'm of the opinion that I can't complain about losing recruits to higher paying schools when I myself don't at least make an attempt to be part of the solution.

Perfectly acceptable stance to take unless you are on here bitching about losing games and fire the coaches.

Honestly - I've gone back and forth on this. Decided that I dedicate enough time to LSU sports but very little money (only make it back to one game a year).
Just made a donation. Nothing major but would rather our teams be more talented than less. If we have our money right, there's a lot to love about LSU for a prospective athlete.

You should give up your season tickets if $20 a month is your breaking point. Win win for you and LSU

No. I am not donating to pay a bunch of spoiled athletes.

I'd rather invest MY MONEY to grow MY POCKET.
