You all need to accept that some people are just for sale.

Nothing else really matters. They are going to the highest bidders for the quick buck. The future doesn't really matter to them. It will come back to bite them.

I would like to know the prices.

Probably will come back to bite them, but if you grow up with nothing it's hard for them and their families to ignore the $$$. I mean historically, even in the NFL, players don't know how to manage money or look out for their long term success. They get taken advantage of and sold stories all the time. Won't be any different in college.

People move for jobs/financial advancement ALL the time.
What NIL does do, is wash away most of the rose-colored glasses view that people have that the athletes on their college's semi-pro team are at their good ole alma mater because of a lifelong love for the school. Many of them are, but many of them aren't.
Right now, the greed/opportunistic characters are in full display. Don't let it twist you inside out.

But put yourselves in their shoes. They have a chance to receive big dollars while playing football for a top school. They can help their families if they need it. They can save it for later or spend it now, and they don’t have to worry about eligibility.
You might say you’d decide differently, but you just don’t know until you’re in their positions.

The gap must be pretty big on the jacoby nil deal.
It can't just be 100k.
80k upfront and 100k each year after. It was always said him mom wanted him in texas. I know he bonded with those players.

100%. It’s funny how many people on here are probably business owners who make fun of customers who will pass up their business to go the cheapest possible route and get a shitty product, but can’t fathom the fact that these kids are taking the money without a second thought. These are the same people in high schooler form, some people are obsessed with a quick buck above all else and will screw themselves over to get it

You are trying to be logical to a bunch of white dudes who are just mad young black people are openly and legally getting paid.
Why would anyone rather the old way of everything being shady and illegal and people getting paid under the table?
This is life. If one school or company is paying way more than the other, that’s where the person will go. All the complaining about this is silly.

I’d like everyone to know I am for sale. Give me 400K and year and I’ll be an Aggie male cheerleader.

one of the dumbest things I have read on here today and that's saying something. You think they're mad about black people getting paid to come to LSU? It's about the school they choose not the color of their skin and if they get money. If we were landing all these guys you can bet there would be a lot less bitching about paying players.

C’mon, there’ve been a lot of Chargers heading East on I-20 straight for Tuscaloosa in the past several years.

Ah yes, everyone on the internet is definitely white. Do you feel that everyone here is white because black people have to type in Ebonics or something?

Because forming shell companies to buy off high school football recruits isn’t shady at all
