LSU must have given WW like 20 million or more.

Sure, makeup whatever number you feel diminishes him to your liking

LSU will have to pay a fee to his current team Hapoel Tel Aviv. So all of that information you're giving does not apply. This information is being reported by the Euro Media, as well as in the States.

The other players that have been rumored "silent", the money would be somewhat justifiable.

This one, is definitely not.

What part are you refuting, the coach’s statements which aren’t mine or the facts about NIL disclosure? Those are totally separate discussion than the one you presented as a rebuttal.

I find it hard to believe 5 mil on a player like this. Seems bullshite to me

"Madar concluded the EuroLeague season with appearances in 16 games. He recorded averages of 3.1 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 rebounds per game."

I realize that those numbers are low since he didn't play that much, so I hope these averages are not a reflection of what we are getting. He did remind me of Dedan Thomas in the game against France, but I don't think Thomas is worth $5M. If we paid him $5M, I think he is stealing.

The facts about NIL disclosure don't apply outside of the US, which means "numbers" like this can be reported by the Euro Media because the school has to buyout a current contract. This is more like soccer than it is football. How the logistics work and the money would be associated is one thing, but this $5 million dollar tag looks to be legit from every source possible.

There's no source on either side that has said it's not true outside of TD.

The 3.1 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 rebounds per game was for the Euroleague in 2025-2026. He also averaged 18% from 3. He did much better in the Israeli league, but that league isn't nearly as good. In the Israeli league last year, he averaged 11.1 points, 3.9 assists, and 3.0 rebounds and 34% from 3. That's comparable to Ron Zipper, who averaged 11.1 points, 0.8 assists, and 2.0 rebounds, and 38% from 3 in 2024 IBSL.

He's a 1 dimensional player. Very creative, knows how to play pick and roll very well, but can't shoot off of the dribble very well at all which limits him, and isn't laterally quick enough to defend most, if not, any SEC guard. He's not explosive at all, and not athletic.

Very mid signing. I really hope it falls through as suspected and we don't pay him. He was drafted by Boston as a project, and he never materialized. Which is why he's stuck in Israel.

You have to remember that programs are not required to disclose NIL to the public or precisely to the NCAA.

Sooo...is your point that people shouldn't overreact to the reported offer even though you don't know if it's true or not?

Overreacting over an unknown is pretty silly
