Was it to just play for Prime and a big NIL deal. Seems like he would have gotten alot of playing time and been a key piece of a revamped defenses

I wish Wiggins the best, but if he couldn’t get on the field this past season, he wasn’t going to cut it at a program like LSU.

Raw prospect that started playing football his sophomore year of high school if I remember correctly. He always had a high ceiling but something just never clicked. Also didn’t help he had three defensive line coaches in as many years.

With the right coaching, I think he can still be a solid player. Wish the best for him!

He’s an EDGE. We’re fine there.

CU only for PT like someone stated he couldn't get it last year here. It wasn't going happen this year and beyond.

There were so many baws screaming from the rooftops that he was a can’t miss In-state guy who was a key signee in that class.

It does make me wonder if his career outlook was severely altered by that incident where he was slapped around 75’ across the pavement in San Antonio riding that scooter.

IIRC, he bounced back like a freak athlete very shortly after the actual collision and the injuries weren’t anything crazy/career threatening. Who knows though.

Womack didn't play, or Howard, and with Reliford, Breaux, etc coming in Wiggins saw the writing on the wall. Good luck to him. I hope he reaches his potential.

They tried to talk him in to stay and develop under Davis. Playing time was the big issue. Colorado doesn’t have the best NIL collective.

He’s not a sec player. Looks can be deceiving

We have plenty of SDE’s. He also seemed to be a “look like Tarzan, play like Jane” type of guy.

Probably realized he wasn't going to crack the 2 deep and figured CU would love to throw some cash at an SEC guy.

Just because he didn't get playing time doesn't mean he can't play. House was really bad at identifying roles all over the defense. He kept sending out #2 and #35 all year.

I question this statement but only because I think that the problem was as much the coaches as the players. Not saying it is wrong, only that I don't feel I can use an incompetent coaching staff's assessment of a player as a benchmark.

I think Colorado sold him on going there and getting to start or play a lot of snaps.

I doubt lsu processed him.

To say this is is easy, but myopic:
Everyone seems to forget that the kid was hit by a car and looked like Superman flying through the air about 100 ft in 2022. He had a wrist injury from that. That doesn’t even take into account the fact that he only played football 2 years.

He was always a developmental player that had a high upside Too bad he didn’t stay around to get that development with Davis and Peoples. He made a bad decision long term.
