As much control as Kelly has I would imagine it's all part of whatever the plan is. I can't see Kelly allowing him to repeatedly say things like this knowing the blame will fall on the head coach if all the excitement leads to nothing. It feels more like they have everything in line and are waiting to announce an overhaul on defense all at once. Wilson is just keeping us interested until it's time.
