Yeah this kid just lost any and all credibility.

Not to say there is not some shenanigans recruiting but no one is going to give a recruit 650 large to go to a school. They might get a iPhone, hundred dollar handshake or "lunch money". In the older days, maybe even a loaner car or their parent offered a job and subsidized apartment. But no one is getting 650k in cash. Not to mention who would turn that down?

Look at all the recruits who are thought to be great and wash out before even stepping on the field. It is just a crazy story.

He's an idiot.

He takes like 11k from St but passes on that? Yeah, okay. Who does he think he is?! Cam Newton?

Unless someone else paid him more. Didn't he go to Ole Miss? If so, I guarantee somebody is trying to divert attention from Ole Miss and put it on someone, hell, anyone else.

You are incredibly naive, ignorant or both if you think the LSU "family" has $650k parked somewhere waiting for just the right recruit.

Some people have no frame of reference when it comes to finances.

That number isn't even close to believable.

My bad, he actually went to Miss State. Still, sounds like someone is trying to divert attention. That being said, it's kinda stupid to say something like that because it's going to attract a lot of attention to where he did go. If he turned down 650 grand to go to LSU, then how much did he get to go to State? Hummmm very interesting.

Based on that our entire roster of 85 would come to about $55 million

What is with Leo Lewis saying that LSU offered him $650,000 to play for them? Does he have a serious issue with the truth?

so say this is true... then did miss state offer more? or did he really turn down 650k.

His dumb arse mother used that figure to try to dupe Ole Miss to pay up. It's not true, she made it up off the top of her dumb arse head as a stupid ploy to try to extort more money out of Ole Miss. That whole family and Leo Lewish are nothing but black trash. I wouldn't touch that refuse with a ten-foot pole.

So Lewis took $11,000 from Ole Miss, $10,000 from MSU, but declined $650,000 from LSU to go elsewhere?

Consider me slightly skeptical.

What really amps up the potential drama in all these recruiting scandals is that the smartest people involved also have the most to lose and are at the mercy of people like Leo Lewis and Willie Williams.

These coaches are forced to make themselves vulnerable to the whims of borderline retards.

I agree with the fact that it wasn't anywhere close to that... what I am commenting on is those that think that paying players and recruits only happens at schools not named LSU...

like I said... big programs are big programs for a reason... and yes, that includes LSU...

Wait do people really believe LSU players get nothing?
I mean between the free stuff, free meals from certain establishments, and I'm sure other things such as those $100 handshakes.

IF (big IF) LSU offered $$$ to HS recruits, they would never have offered $650k or anything close to that to Leo Lewis.
Can u imagine how much they would have offered LF7??? Billions!!!
