What is with Leo Lewis saying that LSU offered him $650,000 to play for them? Does he have a serious issue with the truth?

For the record he didn't say it, but his mother allegedly did.

i highly doubt it was that much...

If LSU had offered him $650,000 he would be playing for LSU.

So Lewis took $11,000 from Ole Miss, $10,000 from MSU, but declined $650,000 from LSU to go elsewhere?

Consider me slightly skeptical.

You add in the academic and athletic perks $650k might be close. I wonder if this was Lewis's people asking for cash & LSU responding with, "We aren't doing that but the value of what he gets here is $650k".

Ain't no way he's 4x more valuable than Cam Newton

are we sure it wasn't $6500.00?

As usual, I get the stupid responses from the sewer. I asked what is the news on this and to see if there are any intelligent responses. I am sadly mistaken. I saw a story on Tigerbait, and I wanted to see if there was anyone with any relevant information. However I see some insensitive jack arse posting...LOL about the situation in Houston. Enjoy the sewer.

If he turned down $650,000, then how much did he accept from Mississippi State?

You are incredibly naive, ignorant or both if you think the LSU "family" has $650k parked somewhere waiting for just the right recruit.
