Once he signs there, he will stay there for the money.
Wouldn’t it be smart to let him go there for his freshman year, which most players usually suck.
Then offer up a huge bag for him to come here his soph/junior years.
Like ten million for those two years.

Let’s say LSU were to counter offer…
1) they surely wouldn’t do it the week of Michigan getting up to 12 Mil. At that point you would just create a bidding war with a Billionaire’s Wife. Thats not reasonable nor is it strategic.
2) if you were going to do it you wait till 2 days before signing day to gauge then throw your true highest offer.
All this to say, there’s a chance but of we are considering an additional 8 million dollars let’s say to get to 14mil from our 6mil package it might make more sense to go roster shopping.
HOWEVER every school with fans and donors will do the exact same thing so nothing is promised.
Calling it now, we are in for a very wild week of decommitments, transfer portal entries and it’s going to get worse and worse.

He will be playing for Michigan in the 2025 season. I would not expect him to go to LSU or to transfer even after that season.
Michigan gave him such a large NIL offer and he lives so close to that campus, that it's a fit. And the Wolverines had a great upset road victory over Ohio State yesterday, which doesn't hurt.
I am looking forward to what Colin Hurley can bring to the Tigers and think that he will be much better prepared starting this spring.

It's hard to pull those northern kids away from up north especially the ones with families that are diehard fans of teams up there. It happens but not to often.

Need To Forget About Him. He's Left LSU At The Altar.
