The big problem here seems to be that they're not crazy about Galen Alexander and don't think he can be a big contributor as a combo forward. If he could, then you wouldn't be so short-handed in the post.
But under the circumstances you really need a grown man who can rebound and defend and score in the low post. Doesn't have to be 6-10, but he does have to hold his own. What you have simply won't cut it.
That's what I was worried about with Galen. Getting him filled no need we had open really. Epps is a small forward, Sims is a small forward, and Alexander is a small forward. None of these guys can really play the 4, but they try Epps there because we no one else and he's 6'10 at least. We really needed a big man and Johnny went out and got 2 6'6 guys.

This is who I think of when I think of Tony Farmer, from both a basketball and a violent felon standpoint.

I've been told that the new staff likes ER and thinks they can make something out of him. We'll see I guess

I wish Patterson and ER would go ahead and do us a solid and transfer
IF Wade truely runs an uptempo show like he stated then you gonna need those guys.

Farmer is an incredible talent, but I don't think LSU can touch him. The video of his incident is terrible. Would be a really tough sell. He's paid his time but not sure he'll get an SEC offer
This Tony Farmer that punched his girlfriend in the head?
Or this Tony Farmer that kicked his girlfriend in the face four times?
No thanks!

They were impressed by his lack of coordination or lack of athleticism? Or what about the fact that he can't play more than 10 minutes a game?

ER is 300 pounds. There's nothing up tempo about him

After the signing of Daryl Edwards, what additional 2017 prospects are being pursued by Wade? How many more can he sign?
At the moment there aren't anymore scholarships available for 2017

I think everyone realizes this. Someone will be forced out if Wade finds someone he believes can help him more. Who that person is i'm unsure.

if Wade truly runs up tempo, ER might be able to give you 5 minutes and then be in dire need of an oxygen tank

Jones really was a spotty recruiter. He gets credit for Mickey and Martin but he did a really poor job recruiting big men other than that. I have no idea what his plan was next season.
I think we see one current player leave and Wade gives that spot to a grad transfer or juco big.

The solution is this...
Medical hardship.
You declare that his pre-diabetic condition makes him medically unable to practice and play, and then you allow the hardship to pull him off your roster so he doesn't count against the 13.
But he's still on scholarship, so if he wants he can take the year and graduate, and still have a year of eligibility that he can transfer someplace and play.
We had a football player who did that, though I can't remember who it was. It would work perfectly for Robinson.

Patterson regressed throughout his career but he was promising as a freshman. I really think Wade will make him decent again.
He had better coaching in HS and it slowly wore off under Johnny. I think he has potential as a decent backup PG.
We really don't know how badly our players were overshadowed by the coaching.

Hell, Patterson looked like a guy that would be a great 4 year guy for us when he was a freshman. I think our starting lineup could be almost anything as of right now, without knowing who is going to respond best to this offseason.

Yeah, I've seen his name come up a few times as someone who could leave but I don't see it. He's a solid backup PG like you said and can be a good defender. Plus he'll be a senior on top of that.

Jones was god awful...period.
I'd like to nab the kid from N. Texas if ER is processed. Wish he had a little more height but he's at least realistic as an option.
I think Tigers could surprise some next year with Wade and his approach.

Jimmy Ott thinks the North Texas kid is coming here. It would be nice

Where did he say this and was it a guess? Would be a huge get

It was on Sports Today this morning, he's been pretty spot on with Basketball news lately
