I see why Wade is giving Luis a shot because he is sorely needed on this particular team. Only way he plays is with a sympathetic judge's ruling IMO.

More work needed at guard position.

I don't doubt WW will get what he believes will be a team to compete. I trust in him as much as I trust in Jay Johnson to get a team to win it all for next year. Then there is Kiffin who is already getting it done.

The future of LSU sports is looking fantastic in the big 3. Exciting times coming.

Can we please spell Bediako correctly? It makes it hard to follow.

Also I'm not sure what they are going to argue because they have made it very clear that just signing the two way contract makes you ineligible. But I hope they can figure it out.

I've been out on the case and it looks like RJ Luis signature on the 2 way was..... FORGED!

Therefore he never signed!

You're forgetting Bashir here, but just replace Luis with him, we only have 4 guards on the roster right now

Madar is starting PG
Ugo will probably backup both guard positions
Nunez is not a rotational player, one of the "free" players on the roster that will basically never play

Luis is not really a guard. He played SF/PF at St. Johns, he is 6'7/215. He did play a little of the 2 spot at UMass but that was 3 years ago now, mostly a SF there too. He is also would most would probably consider a longshot to be eligible considering he is in same boat as Bediako.

We definitely need 1 more guard on the roster, doesnt really have to be ball handler but wouldnt hurt.

Why do you continue to shite on good players just because of who the coach was? He was a top 20 player in the portal and the #3 PG. If we had gotten Haggerty, you could say we upgraded at the position, but we missed on him. He was good enough for one of the top programs in the country, yet not good enough for you. Interesting take.

He quit on the team? That's news to me, what are your sources? He reaggravated it and had surgery.

Don't be ignorant to think 99% of the fan base wouldn't have welcomed his return. Hell, people on here were happy with the possibility of Reece returning, much less Thomas.

Im not saying I agree with him, but if Shaq was talking about Thomas the other day, what he said was far from a complement. Called him a bumb and went off a bit

Too bad we didn't have a coach for him, maybe he will do well under an actual coach. We will be fine without him.

Must've missed that. What did he say, and what makes you think he was specifically talking about Thomas? You know Sampson doesn't take players like what y'all say Thomas is right?

This is the way, he’s played PG before. Watched him outplay 2 lottery pics (Harper, Bailey) to the tune of 38 points with almost no help at Monmouth last night. He can do whatever you need from a backcourt player.

Was thinking same thing he is very quick and passes the ball well with good court vision. He can really shoot it too

Saw an interview with him after one of his big games where he was asked about handling the ball so much at 6-7 and he said he’d played PG his whole life before college so he’s comfortable doing it. Wade’s gonna want the ball in his hands a lot so I could see he and Ugo in the same sort of Smart/Mays scenario where we’ve got a duel PG type of deal.

Madar, Ugochukwu, Nunez, and Luis are the guards.

I don't think LSU gets Luis and Madar to campus. Lots of hoops to jump through. I hope WW has a good backup plan in case I'm unfortunately correct.

If there is any PG available, why in the world would they not want to come play with the front court he’s assembled.

Madar is going to be fine if we agree to terms. Zipper was a freshman this season as a 23 year old. Madar will get a year. They aren’t going to mess with the military service deal.

No idea on Luis.

Either way Wade is going to add a ball handler/distributor. This guy clearly isn’t screwing around.

That could be a possibility but supposedly he has signed two contracts. Were both forged? By whom? His agent?
