Can you tell me why the UGA fan base this week believe Ricks is flipping to them? I saw Ricks comment on Milton's live and say "Go Dawgs", but I think it was just him supporting his friend. Is there any fire with this smoke?

1 person starts a rumor saying they have sauces and everyone runs with it, same thing happening here. No one on here, but another board, claimed Ricks is definitely not going to LSU and UGa was 70-30 to get him. Then now we're at where we are now.

Twitter mainly, but there was a recruiting vlog by two UGA dudes talking it up a few days ago claiming they were going to flip him. That's why I came here. I see no news within the recruiting services. People are running with this idea though and I'm confused.

I think a lot of it is the same reasons why LSU fans thought they could get Milton. Ricks and Milton obviously have a strong connection, but at the end of the day the recruits are going to make the best decisions for themselves.
Do I believe there is a better chance now we get Ricks than before Milton was committed to us? Absolutely.
But there’s been smoke to Ricks in a lot of places and I’ve yet to see him waiver in his commitment so at this point it’s hard to see him end up anywhere other than Baton Rouge.

I read Tigerdroppings every day, and I don’t ever remember this. I’m not saying you’re incorrect that fans are delusional. I just think that’s a very bad example. It’s kind of like the OP saying Georgia fans “are running” with the idea of Ricks flipping.
