Obviously Lacy to LSU likely.

Here are some others things going around I thought I would share.

Hearing LSU and Lane are very very confident on Trinidad waiver situation. Diego Pavia situation helped lot with this. With this, I expect Chambliss to be LSUs starting QB next season. However, Austin Simmons and camp still monitoring situation. Wants to come to LSU but if Chambliss waiver granted likely ends up at Miami or Florida.

Ole Miss WRs Duce Alexander and Winston Watkins are likely to LSU. Apparently Alexander and the weeks bros have some connections I’m told.

Dylan Stewart was always transferring no matter what. Lucas gives us an edge, but this one all about NIL at the end of the day. We will have to fight Ohio State and Texas. Never know.

Also something I want to note, hearing Caden Durham is considering entering the portal. He loved Frank, and always was a home town guy being from Oklahoma. Eric Morris of Oklahoma St trying to make a splash of Durham and Mestmaker through the portal. Oklahoma will probably try to as well. Hope Lane and company can find a way to keep him.

How do we feel about holding on to Harlem Berry? Seems like both LSU and Ole Miss feel confident Berry will be at their school next season. My gut says he stays but Ole Miss might make a ridiculous offer if we bring in Kewan.

I guess I misread. I thought Chambliss was already granted his extra year.

I personally haven’t heard much in regards to Berry. No news is good news kind of deal I would say.

I fully expect Frank to come after Berry, but Berry is from Louisiana and I know LSU has the NIL advantage over Ole Miss as well. My gut says Berry stays

You could see something when LSU announces more players for the Nike Blue Ribbon deal. Pickett and Green are already on there, which basically is ensuring they are locked down.

Hold onto Berry and get Lacy. We will need at least one more portal tailback, preferably two more. Hopefully we can find some hidden gems.

This is where I'm at. Durham simply hasn't been the same since that injur his freshman year. Not to say he's forever damaged goods but if he wants out he seems easily replaceable via the portal

Chambliss, Lacy, Alexander, and Watkins change the offense overnight.

LSU is getting one of the best QB’s and RB’s in the country in the blink of an eye with them 2.

Alexander would be a huge get. He has 787 yards on 59 touches. 123 of that are rushing yards, he’s real dynamic.

Watkins would still have 3 years of eligibility, and Alexander would still have 2 years of eligibility. Although, Alexander I think will be a high draft pick after next season.

Durham transferring isn’t ideal, but not anything to lose sleep over. He’s regressed in a big way this season. Some of that could be Frank Wilson, but Durham had terrible vision this season, and looked like he lost a step. Wasn’t quite the burner he was last year. Couldn’t find a hole to save his life.

I expect Kiffin to snag 2-3 RB’s in the portal. Lacy and Berry gives LSU a top tandem in the country, if not the best.

Landing Stewart and the Ole Miss guys sets LSU with a foundation to be a top team in the country next season. Of course there will be plenty more transfer adds than just these guys.

I also hope LSU goes after Cayden Lee Ole Miss WR.

Durham is a moron if he transfers. He might be a better fit in Lane's offense than even Berry. Lane needs at least 2 stud RBs in this offense and he definitely wouldn't mind 3. He would make all 3 work. His offenses put up 2500+ yards rushing regularly. That's plenty to go around in a money year. If he wants to go, cya. LSU will just replace him with someone just as good in the portal. They're a dime a dozen.

If I'm being honest though, I don't think Durham has good vision and I feel that's not something very coachable at this point. I wouldn't be too upset if he bolted and LSU got someone in the portal to offset it.

Durham was better than Berry, even playing hurt. I don't get everyone wanted to boot Durham for Berry.

They will need 3-4 if Durham (or another RB) leaves. You want to keep all these guys and add Lacy and a lesser back to the stable.

I would have to think if Lane wants him money will not be the problem here. Lane already said it recently. They apparently have been putting money valuations on players with their performance so some guys are likely getting decrease in money so they're hitting the portal(like Curne). Like a, I'd love to keep you but you're not worth what you're paid. He's pretty much saying BK way overspent on this roster.

If Lane wants him, I'll trust him. I doubt he'd promise him the job over here though which is partially why he had Chambliss behind him. He has a high ceiling and Lane knows this, but he hasn't tapped it yet. He's not going to gamble a season on this guy who has looked spotty at best. He'd probably offer him an opportunity to win the job and grab someone else if he's okay with that.

I don't see Simmons coming over for that reason. Lane knows he can pick anyone in the portal right now he would not guarantee anything to Simmons. He has potential but he's too risky right now.
