I know we offered him, but would you say Pooka is a guy that's expected to be a part of this class?

This kid is only playing running back because HHS has no qb to get him the ball. So they put him at rb

I'm not sure that this is really accurate. The team had passing QBs in prior years and he still lined up at RB primarily. He does do some slot as well and will line-up at slot some in college. But the kid is a hard runner who rarely goes down on first contact. Watching him play these last 3+ years, he definitely has a RB's mentality.

Here's video from the first game this season vs West Jefferson. Highlights of Pooka are at 1:50, 2:58, 4:15 & 7:04.

very similar to tyre golmond. A kid who I believe may be the most underated running back in Louisiana

Another guy he's similar to is Onterio McCaleb from Auburn . Was always scary watching him on those sweeps .

So tell me about "Pooka"

LSU is going to have to "show him a lot of love...a lot of love" to get him.

His build and running style looks a lot like Tavon Austin to me. They both use that little stutter/jump step to setup cuts alot.

LSU will definitely show him some love, if he shows his classwork and grades the same.

He's got a few people working with him on his grades, I hear he's been working hard on it. If he's serious about it he'll be fine.

Not a chance he's running a 4.3. Probably more in the 4.5 range, which is still fast

Watching those highlights vs. West Jeff and his interview in those highlights is painful. He sounds borderline illiterate.

Ran a 4.3 at LSU two summers ago.

The QB Jackson and reciever Gray both run a 4.5, and Pooka is much much faster than them.

I was at Hahnville Terrebonne game last Friday. Pooka was great! 5 TD with a definite 6th gear. Terrebonne defense had no answer. THS has a guy that might be the next Elijah McGuire. He’s not big but runs like 200lber.
