Shea: If you’re not familiar with #LSU WR signee Jalen Brown’s speed, this sums it up.

The important part will be denbrock scheming ways to get him the ball in space and Daniels executing the short-intermediate passes to allow for YAC

He probably won't even play much this year so not really on the Daniels part. Not going to be exactly easy to get on the field with that WR room and I wouldn't be shocked if Parker is ahead of Sampson and Brown day 1.

That 400 m time for KB is an indication of his natural strength.

On top of speed, brown is a good route runner.

This wr class restocked the cupboards.

Hard to get excited about recruits.

If they don't start right away, they transfer

I think the idea was to compare him to someone most LSU fans are immediately familiar with. Most LSU fans haven’t seen anything from Trey Palmer outside of a punt return and a few plays in garbage time. Boutte is someone every LSU fan has seen plenty of, and his speed can be compared relative to Brown’s in most peoples’ minds.

I smile everytime I think about LSU's wide receiver room. We are so set at that position.

I actually disagree and think it’s where he needs to improve the most. Plenty of camp 1on1 videos and all American practice route footage to back up that claim. When he can’t win with speed he doesn’t win much. Nothing coaching can’t fix though

I think Aaron Anderson ran 10.75 or something in high school as well. And Hilton is right there with Anderson.

Nabers and BTJ might be the "slowest" WRs on the field in a 5 wide set.

C'mon what? Parker is more polished than both right now. Sampson is raw. Parker is the underrated one of the recruiting sites.

Chris Hilton is going to be healthy for spring too. He can fly.

Not to be overly obvious, but this is Hilton's make or break year. He has some work to do as there are lot of guys ahead of him expected to get more targets.

If it isn't somewhere like playing in the slot he'll probably transfer after spring.

Between Brown, Parker, and Anderson they're all going to be vying for somewhat similar roles as Hilton. Right now Daniels is limited on intermediate and long passes. If he doesn't clean his accuracy and anticipation up here it's not really going to matter who's responsible for taking the top off a defense.

You might be able to say Brown and Sampson have a bigger ceiling than Parker but the most ready to play right now is Parker of those.
