i just don't see how we get Bussey. A&M was willing to outbid us for ricks. I don't see how the would let Bussey go without a record NIL offer. He would have to just want to be at LSU. Don't see us outbidding them at all.

the big coup would be for LSU to get Bussey and Bussey talk his cousin, a stud DE that transferred from Purdue to A&M, to come to LSU with him. Both would big immediate players for LSU and boy do we need some new player on defense.

I don't know why I feel this way but he doesn't seem like the type of player that NIL is the most important thing. Of course it has to play a roll but I just think there is way more than just money factored into his decision. He just doesn't seem like the type of guy who has NIL as the most important part of his recruitment. Then again, I could be completely stupid and he is after that bag.

Ricks is unproven talent like Harris was. BK isn’t over paying. Ricks had a price and like Heard did. LSU didn’t think he was worth said price given what else we’ve gotten and what more may come. It wasn’t that they didn’t want him, they didn’t think it was worth it.
