I have no clue where Lonn gets his info or if there is any truth to this, but I feel like he has pretty pretty accurate on a good bit of things so far this season.

No they didn’t. It’s going to be just like the nfl. You can draft top quality guys and they don’t always succeed in the NFL. The first time somebody pays a qb a shite load of money and he gets hurt, or doesn’t succeed to what the “market” suggests, nobody is going to overpay again.

lmfao $1.5m for a running back has gotta be the absolute dumbest waste of money of all time.
Durham is a fantastic back but there's not a RB in CFB worth that much, even if you accept the going rate for other positions as your baseline.

LOL. I can assure you. Durham did not see even one hole as big a AS ran through regularly, and against some pretty weak opposition. Not saying he isn't a good back but lets be serious about this. Run him in the SEC and see how dominant he is!

If Oregon is going to pay $1.5m per year for a RB, then they have no ceiling and will run minor league football forever or until the Nike money eventually gets inherited by somebody who doesn’t like football. The fact that this is even a believable rumor is fricking ridiculous.

Jeanty vs Washington St 26 carries 259 yards 4 TDs
Jeanty vs Oregon St 37 carries 221 yards 1 TD
In 2023 vs Washington, 10 carries 44 yards 1 TD, 4 receptions 109 yards 1 TD
