Yeah, that is the one HUGE "bad" thing about pay for play. You know that money paid gets leaked out. So you are in the locker room right next to a guy you KNOW is getting a lot of money and you think you are contributing more. How do you think that goes over with the "underpaid" player...I'll take a wild guess and say "Not well".

You could be right about that but he knows their best ever still won’t be good enough to win a championship and maybe he’s after one. How is that wrong? You don’t seem to care when coaches do it. Why should players be any different? Schools are only investing in a player for a year at a time. Players have zero obligation to accept the next year scholarship offered. If you are demanding more from players then demand that the schools give out scholorships for 4 years guaranteed

NIL is such a lie. These kids aren’t selling their fame to businesses. It’s a straight up pay to play arrangement with most of the cash being used on no-name freshman recruits. We don’t even pretend it’s anything else

WAOM was bound to happen sometime lol. I think they got too caught up in the new shiny fish and someone came in and snatched him right under their noses. And probably ran out of money to match his price
