Word was he basically has had the yips ever since his injury in high school. He was a freak of nature punter before that. An NFL leg as a 17 year old. Now he looks like a drunk frat boy trying to punt in the Bogie's parking lot at 2 AM.

Please tell me he's bringing a case of Dr. Pepper through the ops building's front doors.

Saw where someone said one will be gone soon (meaning Todd)...

Yeah, probably no other way around that. Since we're already at 7 extra we won't gain anything for Todd entering the portal. He'll have to transfer to stay under the 81 limit likely.

Shame Todd didn't work out. Is it due to the injury or was it lazy evaluations where they took other's word for it? It is probably that injury... but man it is taking awhile. I hope he gets back to form (if he transfers out of conference). It probably won't be for LSU though.

Whats up with Todd? You would think the number 1 punter in the country out of HS would be good enough to punt from day 1

When u can take 32 players why not use them on a couple special teamrs ? Can't hurt can it ? But I thought lsu would be able to sign 33 or 34 players this year between juco, transfer portal and he signees I didn't think orgeron signed the full 25 limit the last 2 years in a row even counting with transfers

Cade York leaving early may have indirectly had something to do with this. Cade is a great place kicker and he could also kickoff and punt. He easily could have been the back up punter.

So do you have a problem with Brian Kelly now holding players accountable?

Is he a graduate transfer? He wouldn't count towards the 32. He'd only count towards the 85.

I watched Todd punting in pregame and halftime warm-ups before the bowl game. Was not impressed by his hang time or length on punts. Now I realize this is just practice but I would think you should get a few booms during this setting. Also, don’t know if he is still injured and he was just going through the motions.

Hold players accountable and one will loathe the day with poor special team play - the third rail of a championship caliber team

I watched him warm up at the Texas Bowl, he’s better than fricking Atkins.
