Kids don't want to compete. It's a shame too because we're still razor thin at the position and he would likely get good playing time.

The staff was high on him as a freshman he impressed in camp. Also apparently the fastest guy on the roster not that that really means anything.

We have 1 cb on the roster for 2023, excluding fr or portal. We need 6 who can play over course of a season. Even with welch, toviano, ricks, Harris, you need 2 more. Guys get hurt, etc. Brooks and burns will be s, so spot cb and outside cb are all 3 open. Need 2 deep at each

Seems a bit early on the trigger there. He’s a couple injuries away. But kids see immediate playing time somewhere else, so they’re jumping on it.

This doesn't make sense when LSU is so thin. There is another portal window after spring practice, he would have a much better read on where he would be after than.

That's why I don't have a issue with what Deion said during team meeting. Most these kids want the spot light, money,and don't want to work. I would think putting in the work against the best and busting my butt around year 3 I would be playing alot at minimum.
